When I was growing up, my parents would take me back to Ewing, Nebraska for family reunions and funerals. They would take us kids through the cemetery and point out headstones and tell us stories. When I was going to college in Pasadena, CA I began going to the Forest Lawn Cemeteries for their park like settings and to view the wonderful artwork there. I stumbled upon STAN LAUREL's headstone in Hollywood Hills. Searching for celebrity graves became a hobby for me and when people would visit me I would take them on tours of many cemeteries. I have attended Sammy Davis Jr.'s funeral and was present when Andy Gibb was laid to rest.
I now live in Columbus, GA and when I discovered Find A Grave Website I was very happy. I am so glad to be a contributor to this sight.
