I remember listening to my parents, their siblings, in-laws and Grandparents talking when everyone came to visit about people long gone. I knew they meant something to them but they were just faceless names to me.
Then in the early 1970's, a thick three ring binder showed up filled with the names of my father's side of the family (Vernon) and my interest was piqued. It went back to three English brothers who came to America with William Penn and in among all those long ago names was a couple pages with mine on them and I felt important.
It took me a long time to realize just how important I was to the idea of maintaining that family history and many others. So in 2000, I began my journey into Genealogy and have found that ALL of us are important to the families that came before us and those who will come after with the research that we do today.

RE: Ellen Brown 1855 - 1937
Hi Luanne,
Sorry that it's taken me 2 years to reply (LOL) I haven't had much time for Ancestry lately. I have Mary Ellen Lautzenhiser Brown in my tree and she is buried in North Hollywood, CA at Valhalla Cemetery (No. hollywood / Burbank border). Please let me know if you need anything else.

James Alfred Henthorn
Luanne, James Henthorn is my grandfather William's brother. His headstone indicates Alfred as the middle name but this memorial page has the middle name as Albert. Can you tell me which is correct.

Hello Luanne - Please transfer maintenance of the memorial for my grandmother Martha to me. I'm the eldest of her three grandchildren. Thanks for creating this - but I think it's time for her closer family to take this on.

Ben Terrell
Lost Family
Hi Luanne.

My name is Ben Terrell, my mother is Shirley Henthorn and her father is Miles Henthorn Jr.

I have never had contact with that side of the family and would love to find out what family I have left on that side of the family.
Any info you could give me would be much appreciated.

Thank you; Ben Terrell

David Capps/ Sampson Wombles etc.
Luanne, See a Jerry Beck burial, (Sitton family descendant) buried at the Polk Memorial Cemetery in Ellington, St. Louis County Missouri. Could that be the "Jerry Beck Cemetery" referenced in notes from your great GF David Capps? Just trying to be helpful based on reading a public note. Wondering if you ever found your answers. I sent a regular email to you recently in 2017, hope it reaches you. Sincerely Collins/Garner/Gray's of Lincoln County, MO descendant pc.

Mary Ann Trotter
I was fulfilling a photo request for Mary Ann Trotter on and noticed you had added a note.  I thought you may be interested to know that while the directory does list information for her birth and death dates, there is a note stating that there is no gravestone.  However, they did find an obituary, which I sent to you via e-mail.
