I am researching the Hansird, Weaver, Lyles & Wilson families. And on my late husband's side the Quarles, O'Kelley, Charles & Lowe families. If anyone has any info they would like to share, please contact me.
Also if I find a memorial that doesn't have a photo, I will go ahead and add it without waiting for a request.

Thank you so much for sending the information to me on Thomas Pickel. I am very curious about your response.
Is the Thomas Pickel you are referring to, Thomas Jackson Pickel born in 1863 and dying in 1941? I am not familiar with George and Ollie Pickel, but if my research is in error, I would love more information on them. The only Thomas Pickel I saw in the Summerour Cemetery was born too late to be my GG grandfather. (Thomas Pickel 1910 1947)
Thank you for sending me any information you may have.

Thank you for updating Francis' Memorial despite my typo on their marriage date (it should be 12 Feb 1874, not 1974).
Francis' place of death and burial appear to be mysteries to many of us. I wish I could be of more help on this.
If there is anything else I might be able to help with, please feel free to reach out.

Would you please add Sarah Elizabeth Sanford (Memorial # 69085082) as a spouse to Francis Monroe Quarles (Memorial # 55218922)?
Francis and Sarah are my paternal great-grandparents. They were married 12 Feb 1974 in Gilmer County, Georgia, USA. I have already added Francis and Sarah as the parents to my grandfather, Thomas Row (Quarles) Sanford (Memorial # 148814626) - my grandfather had assumed his mother's maiden name later in life.
I was going to request of the Creator of Sarah E. Sanford's Memorial to transfer management to me since it appears that she does not have a family tie to Sarah, but the Creator has their messages disabled and no email address available.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Thanks for the info about the photo. The person that posted the pic is Sonia Tofoya, her name is under the photo, you will have to ask her to delete it. Thanks again

That was incredibly easy. I'd just looked at Amazing Grace and Summerour Methodist the other day, on Google maps satellite view and streetview. Don't know how I missed this one, less than 1/4 mile away.

Don't know much about it, but I'm very good with directions and finding things on Google maps.

Thank you...I will certainly check this out. I went to Chatsworth several years ago and got quite a bit of info at the library, which helped. I have been to several cemeteries in the area: Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian, Fairy Valley and Calvary Baptist, but I had never heard of Chatsworth Heights until recently. I'll have to go there the next time I'm up that way....after it gets cooler! Thanks again for your help. :-)

Since you took photos of the Old Summerour cemetery in Murray County, do you remember where it is? Can you give me directions to it?
