I am a family history researcher, primarily on the BURSON surname, although I frequently get side-tracked!! Findagrave has been a huge help to me on many occasions.

I am also a writer, and have recently published a new history of my hometown, Victoria/Strong in Union County, Arkansas. Hardback, 420 pages. Anyone interested may contact me through my personal email.

I also have "A Burson Family Story" for sale. This book is primarily about the earliest generations of Bursons in America.

I have limited copies available of another of my books, "Red Hill - A Novel Of Alabama," a historical novel of my great great grandparents, David Lawson and Celia Ann McInish Burson.

I have just published another book called "A Bad Day Dawning - A Novel of the Independence Day Murders." A historical novel about a pair of brutal murders which took place in Union County, Arkansas on July 4, 1935.

Also available: "Growing Up Strong," a childhood story set in the little town of Strong, Arkansas in the 1950s.

Also available: "Book One of Follow The River - A Historical Novel of Alabama." Set along the historic Tallapoosa River in Alabama, beginning in the year 1836. Book Two of Follow The River is now available.

All books are hardback, perfect bound.

Strong, AR book
My family is from that area. I am wondering if you happen to have any info about them in your book.

Bursons on F-A-G @ Dadeville, Alabama
Mike, since you don't know anything about the 10 + 1 Burson Find-A-Grave Memorials you Manage at Dadeville, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, I think the simplest way to resolve the Burson persons Memorial duplications with the Tallapoosa Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County, Georgia, would be for you to Delete the 11 Dadeville F-A-G Memorials.

You wrote the following to me. I'm not sure I'm kin to the Gray's. Could you tell me some of their first names, so I can look them up?

RE: Strong Cemetery
You posted a nice picture on one of the Gray surname people buried there. I assumed you were kin. I have many people buried there.

Richard Holman Memorial
Mike, I am a great-great grandson of Richard Holman. In fact, my tree on Ancestry is probably to most complete as far as records for his family. I was fascinated by the newspaper article attached to the FindaGrave memorial. The contact info for Gene Barron was cut off the bottom of the article. Could you please send me the e-mail address for him. I would love to see what else he might have on the subject. Oh, by the way, the "daughter" Margaret, was actually the daughter of his brother Asa R Holman.

Mike, I am doing some volunteer work for the 35th Infantry Regiment Association. I saw a note from 2009 on that you had received the IDPF for PFC Hendrix. At least I hope you are the same Mike Burson. Please contact me as I would appreciate any help you can provide.
