|Aloysius||More Stu Merwin|
I was in phone and email contact with Stuart for many years. He sent crew photo and useful info for model I built of "RED ASS'. This aircraft is now in Pima Air and Space Museum,Tucson,Az. Name was changed to :Bungay Buckaroo".Seems some general's wife thought "RED ASS" was offensive.

Hi Helen,I have added a couple of photos to memorial #151174449. One is of Stuart's Crew and one of nose art of B-24 on which he was Radio operator. Pilot ,Charlie Ryan named aircraft "RED ASS" for condition he felt as from a hangover.

|C Dawson||Fort Denaud Cemetery|
Hi. In researching the Dana family, I came across two accounts for the same person at the same cemetery and was wondering if you would consider either merging them or deleting one?
The first is Leroy Oran Dana (listing #52096887) and the second is Roy Dana (listing #58575915). If you look at the headstone pics you posted, you will see they are the same and the dates are all the same. Leroy Oran Dana should be the correct account to keep.
I appreciate your consideration in looking into these accounts and understand if you wish to disregard this request.

|Mike Evans||Ambrose Niblett|
I mistakenly submitted an edit to link Ambrose Niblett to the parents of his wife, Ada Belled Kennedy Niblett. Please disregard the edit request.
|Carolyn Allen||Lee Tillis' death date|
Not only does the tombstone have the death year as 1948 , the U. S.Headstone Applications for Military Veterans listed his date of death as 1948 (precisely Mar 10 , 1948 ). That application names Rosa Lee Williams as applicant and was made in 1951 . It is likely she was a family member but does not reveal the specific relationship . Baker's Funeral Home was to receive the tombstone and place it in the City Cemetery which I have learned Woodlawn is one of several sections of that cemetery in Fort Myers . My interest in the memorial came about because another tombstone has been discovered for him with a different month lying in a city park in Columbus , Ms. Columbus , Ms. is the location of Columbus Marble Works which apparently made both tombstones with the correct date one going to the cemetery and the other somehow ending up in a city park lying down and being discovered after all these years .
