|I discovered Find a Grave in early 2007, and received such wonderful assistance from so many other Find a Grave volunteers that I decided to become one myself.|
I live in Northern California, and have been seriously researching the many branches of our family for several years. We have an incredibly varied ancestry (Japanese, Chinese, German, English, Irish, Scottish), so it has been an exciting and often challenging adventure! I'm very thankful for the generous genealogy community and for the opportunities I've had to share my discoveries with other family members.
If you have any additional information for a person whose record I've created, please feel free to e-mail me, and I'll be happy to make any appropriate updates.
I will also gladly transfer management of a memorial to anyone who falls within Find A Grave's 4-generation guidelines: spouses, parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, grandparents, and/or great-grandparents. Please use the "edit" tab to request a transfer, and state your relationship to the person in question.

I recently visited Old Lutheran Ridge Cemetery, but is was unmarked so I didn't realize which cemetery it was. I didn't get photos for your requests, but I did find this website which has at least some of them:
Next time I am in the area I will try to get the photos, but I suspect the older pictures will be better.
I hope this helps!

Hi Kathy-I filled your request for Cora Laing. She is buried with her husband, Albert (1881-1951). If you make a memorial page for him let me know and I'll post the picture...Mary

Hi Kathy. Thank you for letting me know the correct burial place for Mary Adeline, I did not know she had remarried. I have deleted the Illinois memorial I set up for her. I would love to exchange information with you. Calvin Coddington's grandmother, Sarah Porter was a sister to my husband's 3rd great grandfather.
My email address is S38LP@SBCGLOBAL.NET, it is not case sensitive. I show it in all caps as most people think the "L" after the 8 is a #1. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Well, no I don't have any original pictures of Jane. These was copied from other people. Just don't remember, but it was through the internet. The younger picture of Jane was really blurry. I was disappointed the way it copied off. Wish we had a picture of her husband William Hutchinson. Thanks Carol

Dear Cathy, I looked in my book and all I have is the Obituary and a picture of Jane probably close to her death, which I think it was with the obituary. I have posted the picture on her Memorial page. She died n Jefferson County Illinois, so maybe that was the newspaper it was in. Sorry, I was not much help on this. Carol Sellers

If you go here http://www.springgrove.org/geneology-listing.aspx?garden=LN§ion=29&lot=46&cemetery=SPRINGGROVE
you'll see who is buried on lot 26. It is misleading though. Jesse Grant, fatherr of President Ulysses Grant, is buried there but his sons are not even though they are inscribed.

Sorry about previous message.. Sometimes auto-correct is a pain!

You had requested grave photos for Hong Wing and Mayne Yee. Although not the best photo, I have added what I have for both of them and also for Dorothy. I have also sent messages to Graywriter to add birth and death years for all three. I am guessing the three are husband, wife and daughter. If so you can request they be linked together, or if you wish, let me know and I will make the request.

You are welcome. Glad to be of help.
Will be providing an interpretation of the headstone in the next day or two.
