I was born and raised in Corley, WV. My adult life has been spent in the northern VA suburbs. My passion for the history of Braxton County and uncovering the genealogy of the families - who were a part of the community that shaped me - is being fanned into flames in my retirement years. I will work to do a walk-through survey of cemeteries in the area to share with FAG viewers.|
I appreciate your advising me of additions or corrections. Many thanks.

She is my husband's Grandmother, she married Jesse Anderson Moore #115178570 so her last name was Moore. I added her death certificate and if you notice on her husband I posted his obituary that names her as preceding him in death

Paula, FYI your memorial is a duplicate of the one in the subject line for Emery and Mary Chidester Berry. Suggest put the little monument and note on it and delete yours. Appreciate all the work you do.

Hi Paula, I was adding a memorial for a distant cousin, and am wondering if one of your memorials might be her former husband. Her obit says she was predeceased by two former husbands, one being Kermit Galford (#92604840). I don't have any other details about Mr. Galford yet. Do you happen to know anything more about him? Here is the link to the memorial I added, which has some of the obit details.
Thanks for you time.

|Wahoo||Edith Mae Ewart|
Edith Mae Ewart (1915-1924)is the daughter of David Tilton Ewart and Esta Mae Stutler Ewart Snyder Stutler. The death date on the headstone is probably correct. The Edith Ewart living with Joseph W and Esta M Snyder in 1930 is Edith J Craig Ewart, the wife of Harold D Ewart, Esta's son. Esta was my great aunt and I have had contact with Edith J Craig Ewart's descendants. Thanks so much.

I hope I am not too forward with this update suggestion.
I noticed in my hometown newspaper today that the father of a classmate had recently passed. I then realized the classmate, Joe Kniceley, had passed in 2006 and that you made the FG memorial for Joe and also for his parents.
The memorial for Kenneth (Joe's father) has his death date as unknown and you may want to update it with Nov 10, 2016. (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=112882305)
Here is a link to the newspaper item: http://www.wvgazettemail.com/OBIT/20161113/ken-kniceley
Joe was a nice person and I have no doubt his parents were also. I guess that is why I did a mini-search as a FG Member after reading his obituary.
Thanks for the memorial work that you do.

Thanks for the photo of the Calvert headstone at Bealls Mill Cemetery. I'm grateful for your help.

Thank you so much for going and doing that!!!!
I'm sorry to say this but I have some bad news though....
I had requested that you photograh that cemetery based on information that I had received from a funeral home up there in Sutton that had handled a past family member and unfortunately the information was apparently wrong. I see where all the pictures are that you have taken and none of the ones that I have added are among those - so obviously my cemetery is yet another Harris cemetery still undocumented....
I can't apologize enough for having you do the wrong one and I honestly would not have asked you to do that if I hadn't thought the lady at the funeral home knew where the place was at....
Thanks again for your work!!!

Paula, This is Rob Riffle. I went and edited William Riffles cemetery entry as requested. Just thought I'd let you know. It's always good to add a verification element to genealogical facts. Thanks: Rob

Thanks so very much for finding my gg-grandparents. I had no idea where they really were, so even though I had names and dates, I couldn't add them. What records were you able to find (and where) to verify their location? Are you connected to the family? I am so happy to see these additions. Thanks again! Your efforts are appreciated.

I am of the VA/TN Harpers and always try to say a Hello to fellow Harpers. We have a convoluted genealogy, so love to see other Harpers.
