Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interest in Find A Grave began while researching my family history, creating memorials for my ancestors and extended family.

The past few years my focus has been on taking headstone pictures. I am currently editing/adding photos I took in 2015.

Like you, I am a volunteer. I participate in this labor of love because I believe it's an important part of our history.

I will gladly update any memorial in my care with a sourced request. Simply share a few details about how you know something to be true when you submit an edit (using the edit tabs please).

Inside voices and good manners are very much appreciated.

RE: Edward and Clarice Ericson
Laura,
I have Einar E Ericson in my family tree. He is my 1st cousin, 3 x removed. His father is my 2nd great grand uncle.
He and Clara Mathilda Berg are married. Sources are Ill. Cook Co Marriage index, Ill Death Index 1916-1947, 1900 US Census, 1910 US Census, and 1920 US Census. They had 9 children.
Thank you for the photo of their tombstone.

RE: Walter M Kloser
oops... ps: I'm not related. I was doing some cleanup for a friend's family, who is not a registered contributor for F.A.G.

RE: Everett Ward Olmsted
Laura
I'm the Olmste(a)d family genealogist.

Everett Ward Olmsted was deeply involved in the Olmsted Family, Inc. which produced the "Olmsted Family in America" in 1912.

He was a professor at Cornell Univ. and he donated a copy of the 1912 book to the Uris Library at Cornell. It was that book that I found there and photocopied the whole thing, 2 pages at a time for a nickle a sheet, in 1976. It was on chemical paper in the day before our current laser copiers -- the pages are beginning to fade even though I have them in a big binder. One of the things I no longer need to keep as I have extracted everything in it to my electronic file. I (Heart of the Lakes Publishing) also reprinted in in the 1990s.

Would you like a copy of my file on him and his descendants? I'll send it as an email attachment. I'll need your email address.

Hi Laura,
I will look the info up again after I get back home tmo or Wed. I try those edit messages and they don't always go through. The little thing just spins and spins and I have to start over. Sometimes it goes through twice, it is testing me. ha. Thanks.

RE: Norman and Ethel Tapper
Ethel is a distant cousin. I received the information on them from numerous sources, Indiana marriage records, SSDI, SS Applications, Indiana birth certificate records for some of their children. If you would care to transfer their memorial pages I would be happy to manage them.
