My interest in Find A Grave began while researching my family history. |
After I discovered and/or created memorials for my ancestors and extended family members, I began adding others who hadn't yet been memorialized.
For the past few years my focus has been on taking headstone pictures. I am currently editing/adding photos I took in 2015.
Like you, I am a volunteer. I participate in this labor of love because I believe it's an important part of our history.
I will gladly update any memorial in my care with a sourced request. Simply share a few details about how you know something to be true when you submit an edit (using the edit tabs please).
Inside voices and good manners are very much appreciated.

Gustav Anders Blank was born 1 NOV 1882 in Lessebo, Hovmantorp, Kronoberg, Sweden.
He was married 23 MAR 1910 in Chicago to:
Anna Signe Charlotta Carlson, born 16 MAR 1891 in Huskvarna, Hakarp, Jönköping, Sweden.
Source for marriage from Familysearch:

Source for Anna: EMIBAS databas of Swedish Emigrants; Population in Sweden 1880-1920 Index.
I am not related to them.

Thanks for your inquiry regarding documentation for the Hamm family edits.
These can be found at Ancestry.com in the Roost Family Tree, submitted by member "eldrie." I took a close look at the information in the tree and found no apparent errors. It is meticulously-organized and accompanied by some very nice photos. While, of course, this material cannot be conclusively vetted for Find A Grave purposes, it looked good to me. Were it my decision, I'd accept the edits and remain open to additions/corrections as they surface.
I hope this helps!

|Bill||RE: John and Mildred L Walker - Memorials 146975249 and 146975250|
John and Mildred are included in a list of family members written by my great grandmother (she and John were related by marriage). Social security, census, and other sources provided the details. I was able to locate obituaries for both John and Mildred. They confirmed John's relationship with his father Martin Wolkerstorfer. Census data shows John changed his name from Wolkerstorfer to Walker sometime between 1930 and 1940 (I have no idea why).
I have two photos of John as a child that were included in my great grandmother's estate (she remained in contact with "Uncle Martin" and his family). I will add one to his memorial when I finish scanning the collection.
You can transfer John and Mildred memorials to me.

Have a nice day.

Disregard. To go back and look things up becomes time-consuming. It's not that important to me.
Sorry to have bothered you.
