Bio and Links
Bio Photo I primarily cover cemeteries in Hampshire and Franklin Counties, though I have also done extensive work in and around Boston.

My focus is on pre-1800 stones, Revolutionary War veterans and Civil War veterans. I also snap any Dickinsons I come across, since those Dickinsons seem to be really into this.

MY PHOTOGRAPHS MAY NOT BE RE-POSTED OR REPRODUCED ON THIS SITE, ANY OTHER WEBSITE, OR IN ANY OTHER FORM OF MEDIA WITHOUT MY EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION!

PER FIND A GRAVE'S POLICY, PLEASE NOTE THAT "TRANSFER REQUESTS SHOULD BE FOR DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS, THIS WOULD BE YOUR SIBLINGS, PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS AND GREAT-GRANDPARENTS."

I don't mind being contacted with a specific question about one individual, but please don't contact me with open-ended questions about an entire family line. I receive an average of two such emails per week, and since I have a busy work life, I simply do not have the time to type out entire branches of my family tree over and over. Please refer to rootsweb.com and/or ancestry.com which is where I got most if not all of the information. I HAVE NOT POSTED AND WILL NEVER POST MY OWN FAMILY'S PERSONAL TREE ON THE INTERNET, SO THERE IS NO MAGIC LINK TO A MASTER FAMILY TREE THAT I CAN PROVIDE.

Photo permission for Dorothy (Taylor) Kellogg
I would like to request permission to use the marker photograph of Dorothy Taylor Kellogg, memorial no. 15687956, in my personal genealogy program and on my website. You will receive photographic credit.
I think I have contacted you before for permissions. Usually Taylor (my husband's line) markers in Massachusetts and New York.
Thanks for creating the memorial page and uploading a photograph!

Phebe Brooks Manley
Hi!
I was wondering where you got the information about Phebe's parents and siblings. I have a marriage record for William Manley that says he married a Rebecca in 1675. So I'm really confused because other people have said that Rebecca has the same parents as Phebe, but she is about 5 years younger. Do you know what happened? Is Phebe's husband a different William Manley than Rebecca's husband?
Thank you for your time.

Thanking
Thank you for all the work you've done over the years, putting information and photos of my ancestors, who happen to be in "your area"— Hampshire County in particular! Rust, Strong, Parsons, Clarke, Lee, Allen, Woodward, Woodford,Ford, Edwards and all those guys! Perched on those branches of our tree! (After being away for a couple hundred years, my little family came back to Northampton! One, Naomi, is already in Bridge Street.)
The more I search, the more I see your moniker— "the moo." What does it mean? Is it about cows? I keep wondering! thanks again for ALL the hours and hours of work that you do — and the spirit of devotion.

Polly (Beals) Hamlen, Memorial #55537726
I had an article published in MASSOG 34 (Summer 2010) pp. 45-54, entitled "“Correcting Parents in the Joshua Beals Family of Abington, Massachusetts: A Link with a Mayflower Line” where I establish that Polly is the daughter of Joshua and that she was born in Abington, Plymouth County, MA not Bridgewater. I can send you a word copy of the article if you like. Polly is my husband's 5th great grandmother.
There had been numerous repeated errors in print relative to this Beals family.
Warmest regards,

Pine Grove Cemetery, Conway, Franklin Co., Mass.
I would appreciate your taking a photo of the cemetery stone of Thankful Edwards Thwing, d. 30 Nov. 1770, Conway, Mass. According to Find a Grave she is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery. Her husband is John Thwing, b. 5 April 1719, Mendon, Worcester Co., Mass.If he is also buried at that cemetery, I'd like a photo of his headstone also.

If it is possible, I would like to know the Plot Number.

Thank you for your help.

Please allow me to use your picture of this beautiful headstone, my 5th Great Grandmother, on my Ancestry profile and on my personal genealogy website, josfamilyhistory.com. [This is my second request, I'm not sure what happened to the first, a few weeks ago.] Thank you for your consideration. 14958958 -- Jemima Bronson Hopkins
