Saint Stephens Cemetery
I am thinking you are the lady that took photos of all the headstones in Saint Stephens Cemetery. I want to thank you.

RE: You
Doing my best. You know I don't give up very easily. And yep, family is what we are. Thanks for the kind words and thoughts.

Duplicate
No worries. I had a rare eye disease and had to have two full cornea transplants myself so I could see again. I noticed another memorial that is a duplicate as well: 92701107. If I see any others, I'll let you know. Glad you got your vision back!

RE: Matilda Buschemeyer
Hi!

Matilda was born in 1858 and Jacob's first wife, Louisa didn't die until 1860 according to her gravestone. Jacob married his 2nd wife, Mary Elizabeth, in 1861, so Matilda was about 3 then.

Also, if you google "nathaniel lane taylor schmitt", he is a professional geneologist. His site www.nltaylor.net, has a link for ancestors, click on Schmitt, down at the bottom is a link with Jacob Schmitt's descendents that shows the family tree.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you!

RE: Dewey Gambrel Green Hills Memorial Gardens
Not a book but on the web listing most of the cemeteries in Bell County that could be found around that time. Family cemeteries that were in back yards might not be in it or those that were left for mother nature to take back might not be listed.

RE: Dewey Gambrel Green Hills Memorial Gardens
Not related. I am going through a list from 1997 of all the graves in Green Hills and working on each one from A to Z. I have made it to Stuart. Very long process.
