Bio and Links
Bio Photo A native of Louisville, Kentucky, I've lived since 1998 in the Historic Licking Riverside Neighborhood of Covington, directly across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. I began researching my family history in 1983, and one of my earliest finds was locating the grave site of my 3rd-great-grandmother, Mary Nay Jett (1812-1897), of LaGrange, Kentucky. An armchair historian and an Anglophile at heart, my research interest is primarily focused on colonial North Americans and their British antecedents. The only membership I maintain in a lineage based society is with The National Society of Descendants of Lords of the Maryland Manors. One of my favorite finds was locating the burial place of my 4th-great-grandmother, Sarah Ann Timberlake Woodfin (1809-1855), who died during a yellow fever outbreak in Norfolk, Virginia, and whose lineage I've traced back to Thomas Symes (1621-1670) and his wife Amy Bridges Symes (1621-1662), who were buried in their family vault beneath the chancel at St Michael's Church at Winterbourne in Gloucestershire, England.

Hi, Todd,
I just transferred Chapman and wife to you. I see you made memorials for his parents. Glad to see families come together. Thanks for maintaining them.
Happy hunting,

Thanks for the transfers.

Thank you so much for the transfers.but most of all thank you for the work you are doing. If not for you I never would have known where they were buried.

RE: Ehrhardts in Evergreen

Thank you for your information concerning your new work on the German memorials. I am sure it is very time consuming, but also very rewarding.

Will you be transferring my great, great grandparent's memorials to me when you are finished photographing them? It would mean a great deal to my children and me. As in all transfers your name would remain as the creator of the memorial on the memorial page.

Hopefully we will be visiting Evergreen this fall.

Between 1963 and 1967 I taught school in La Grange, Kentucky. Nothing like having a railroad track down the main street of the town. You mentioned the town in your bio.

Requesting Transfer
I am requesting the transfer of my great, great, grandfather and grandmother's memorials. Although I had looked for them in Newport, Kentucky for years I never dreamed that I would find where they were buried, but thru your caring about the graves and this project,I have been able to do so.
Jakob and Louise Ehrhardt's daughter, Louise, married Michel Engelsberger [Eichelberger] in Newport, and moved to Hamilton, Ohio, after my grand father, Adam, was born in Newport in 1863. My father, Thomas, was born in 1897, and I am near the youngest of a very large family of children.
Jakob and Louise are buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Newport. Jakob Ehrhardt, born 1807, died 1882 has the Memorial number #132184394. Louise Ehrhardt, born 1809, died 1888 has the Memorial number # 132184399.
My public name is Cemetery Friend and my
number is #47880860.
Sincerely, Margaret

RE: Helen Peck (d. 1614)
Thanks. Its great that you are able research those English records. If you could list your descent from Margaret Peck I could figure our exact relationship. Do you have an email address? Mine is

RE: Helen Peck (d. 1614)
You are likely about a 9th or 10th cousin to me. Are you doing your research from USA or are you in England?
