Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been a cemetery fan for over 40 yrs, often stopping along roadsides to visit. I returned to Owen County, KY after living in GA for many years. I found Find A Grave while trying to do some research for my maternal relatives. What a exciting site to find. When I joined, my goal was to fulfill some photo requests in some of the local cemeteries. Now I can't go to a cemetery without wanting to photograph all the grave sites there.

I will try to post a flower to any grave I photograph or visit that doesn't already have one.

I will consider transfers on an individual basis. Please refer any tombstone photos you might use back to Find A Grave. Please enjoy the personal family pictures I post. These photos are posted solely to honor the deceased, and if I wanted them posted to Ancestry I would do so myself. If they are in your "tree" please put them in your personal album.

Thank you to those people who have worked so hard to make this site successful. I hope my contributions will be valuable.

RE: Thank you
You are most welcome. I have gained so much from the work of others that I try to repay the kindness by being as thorough as possible. If I may ask you, how are you related to the Comley family? My Comley line is through a paternal great grandmother and then on back to the colonial ancestors and to England. Thanks for the kind words and Happy New Year to you.

RE: Lula Blackburn
I really did love her. She was a great mother figure, friend, and always listened and never judged. At one time one of her sons told me she had more pictures of my children sitting around then she did of her own grandchildren. My daughter had her first outhouse experience at her home when she was abt 6. I should say 1st and last.

RE: Mamie Clifton
You are welcome for the obituary and update. During our research on our family trees during the past few years, we have collected many obituaries. We are now reviewing them for updating or creating Find A Grave memorials. My wife was born and grew up in Owen county. She is connected to the Clifton's via Mary Sue O'Banion and her second husband, Henry Trigg Estes. Mary Sue is one of her great grandmothers. You will most likely be receiving more requests in the future as we work through the obituaries. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
