Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Carmichael, California. I'm a grandmother of 3 beautiful little girls. My quest for genealogy began to perserve our family history for them. It has become so much more.

I enjoy the hunt and discovery of family treasure. Putting the pieces together for my own bloodline but also those of the extended families. Find a Grave has been a most helpful tool in finding distant cousins and connecting with them.

I have broken my virtual cems into relationships but they are each one related in one way another. I work hand in hand with my ancestry tree in providing the most accuret records possible.

The hubs and I have begun doing cemetery transcription and photo documentation.
We enjoy the peaceful time together and helping others find their loved ones.

Many wonderful folks here have transfered memorials and/or posted bio updates. That is always my intention of asking for one too, is to update and perserve information. I thank each of them for all their time and dedication to genealogy.

If I have posted a memorial or manage one of someone related to you, please email me or leave me a message here. I am always willing to update/trans depending on the need or desire.

Shirley Farrell
My name is Shirley Grant Farrell and I am researching my Tidwell family. I came across your name while working on the family of Benjamin Russell 'Berry' Tidwell and Matilda Alexander Tidwell. I have a lot of Tidwell info, and I never mind sharing. My email is and if you are on Facebook, my user name is Shirley Grant Farrell. We have a group that includes Tidwell cousins, we share info, help with research and share photos. That is why I am writing to you, I was wondering if you have any photos of the above mentioned family, photos just make it more real. I see you live in California. I live in Hurst, Texas, close to Fort Worth, Texas. I am also close to the Sand Hill Cemetery, Simms, Bowie, Texas. I hope to go up to visit it when my son can take me. Will talk to you again soon.

Alfred Bragg middle name
I see that Annonymous added Alfred C. Bragg. She stated his name was Alfred Charles Bragg. My family has no data whatsoever that his middle name was Charles. It was Colum. Do you know where annonymous obtained the middle name of Charles? Thanks Charles Barnum

Info re Find A Grave Memorial# 3527184
I see that Private Joseph Freeman is in your list of Grandparent-in-Laws

I have found his year of birth as being 1846 according to the Calif Death Index which matches his date of death of 5 October 1928, the same as is on his military headstone.

RE: Re: John McCann
I have been working on my McCann family back to my great great grandparents who were the immigrants coming from Ireland.

Since our "McCann" are in general area, coming to Saginaw, then going to Bethany - Gratiot County, MI
then to Porter Township, Midland County, Michigan.

I am still trying to locate one great great aunt and one great great uncle - which is why I probably keep seeing your input.

If you notice a connection, please let me know.

RE: Zion Lutheran Church
I contacted Find A Grave regarding the matter. They removed the wrong church photo. I added the correct photo.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your son. My condolences. I can't imagine....

Hi Deana
I sent you an e-mail awhile back. Not sure if you got it or not so hopefully you will see this. The cemetery is doing a pamphlet on the majors of Springfield and I would like a picture of Charles Eggimann for it. Would you mind sending me one. If you don't have my address I will send it to you. Hope all is well with you and your family.

Zion Lutheran Church
Hello Deana, you added a photo of Zion Lutheran Church (Bay County, MI), it is the wrong church photo. The cemetery sign is correct. Only the church is wrong. I contacted you a year or two ago regarding it, I also submitted a photo of the church this week with a message regarding the descrepency. I was hoping whoever approves photos would have the wrong photo removed. Do you have any ideas how to get it removed?

Hugh Sevier Fuller
Hi Deana,
I'm Lieutenant Ginger Gilmore with the Wichita Falls (TX) Police Department. Our department is researching our officers who were killed in the line of duty. Hugh Sevier Fuller was one of those officers. This year is our department's 125th anniversary and we're putting together a commemorative yearbook. We're especially focusing on the history of our department. We have never had a photo of Hugh to honor him on our wall of fallen officers, or to put in the book we're creating. If you have one from any of your genealogical research, we would love to have a copy. We would also like to correspond with any distant relatives. I was excited to see you're a cousin, you're the first family we've ever found of his!
I look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you!
