Greetings from Georgia. My name is Darlene and I am a twin of an angel, Arlene, who passed away on 18 November 2003 of Metastatic Breast Cancer. Needless to say, I still miss her very much but know that she is only a mirror away, I see her everyday and one day, we will both be together reunited with our loving mother and family.|
I am currently retired from a paying job but thoroughly enjoying an active life that includes my computer, researching my family genealogy, cross stitching, crocheting, reading, grandchildren and taking photos of headstones wherever I may be. It definitely is addictive and I absolutely love it! Even my grandchildren love it and are always on the lookout for another cemetery we can photograph together.
Please feel free to contact me about any of my entries on this site if you see an error or if you would like a record transferred to your ownership.
A special thank you to mozer for sponsoring Arlene's memorial. You are truly a wonderful person!

Thanks for adding the cross reference in memorial #151216404. I did an edit to link his parents with #36518770. Please attached your photo to this memorial with a note that it is in the family plot at Mountain View. Edward died Jan. 20, 2017 and is buried at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery in Helena. Thanks for your help, Joan
Thanks so much for being so kind and transferring family members to me.
Your hard work is very appreciated...

Thanks for your info. The article is a little vague about the exact location of the cemetery it is talking about. When it ends with talk of moving the cemetery that adds to the uncertainty. Michele heard of some burials up by the university in the very early days, and that's what started her search for the original cemetery. I will leave it to her to evaluate the various sources.

I see you have the cemetery listed as "also known as Dillon Cemetery". I'm wondering if you have found a source that confirms that. One of the Head Hunters is doing a study on the Dillon Cemeteries, and she is convinced that the Dillon Cemetery was a very early cemetery before Mountain View, but not Poindexter. She hasn't found any proofs either. She is checking all the early burials trying to figure out what the early cemeteries were. Let me know if you have any input.

Not a problem. I noticed the date discrepancy too. Once chiseled in stone, it is hard to change a date. Also, I do not know what proof is needed for a DAR record.
Have a great vacation.

We do have another cemetery in Fruitland. Unfortunately no one is sure who is buried there. We call it the Pioneer Cemetery. That is possibly where the babies are buried. I do know of two male men their last names were Humes, that were buried there but that is all. In these small cemeteries it is very easy to get them in the wrong cemetery. Thank you for your help.

This child is not buried in Fruitland But in the Strawberry Cemetery in Duchesne county. Please make the correction I keep the records for the Fruitland Cemetery I have not been able to locate any Baum babies. I work with the Duchesne County History Center and there are a lot of Baum babies there. You might check them out. Thank you Carol Roberts

My next older brother Will (Bill or William) and i attend BCHS. Bill would have graduated in 1968 I believe. We also had a number of relatives in Dillon at that time.

The parents of Charlie Haywood (Mary and Isaac Haywood) are also at Eugenia Cemetery. I suppose that there was no marking for them as they are not in the database for burials there.
Granddaughter of Mary and Isaac Haywood and niece of Charlie Haywood
