Bio and Links
Bio Photo 1) First of all, I would like to state that I am a volunteer of I have recently noticed on contributor pages, sarcastic remarks to other members. This is TOTALLY UNNECESSARY AND UNACCEPTABLE and will definately not be tolerated!!! {the delete key is a wonderful invention}
2) Please DO NOT look at my contributor numbers as a FAG hoarder... those numbers are due to hard work, photographing completely local cemeteries and adding data for YOU to locate your ancestors. Since is affiliated with, our information that we volunteers have inputted, was added here for you to locate your family ancestors!!

My area does not have a local historical society, so I do this so YOU were able to find your family ancestors !!
3) I add as much information that is possible onto a memorial. I add obituaries because it includes a biography of the persons life ~ the only one that most will ever have.
When I add an obituary, I will include the funeral home and or newspaper with credit to them, as per "suggested guidelines". I am fully aware of "suggested guidelines" regarding obituaries, however; there is too much valuable information regarding a person's biography, ie: our honored and decorated Veterans
4) DUPLICATES: ONE of my BIGGEST pet peeve is duplicate memorials!! PLEASE LOOK FIRST by doing a thorough search before you create a memorial. Type in the name in the search to see if a memorial already exists.
Be cautious of first and last name spellings.

There is absolutely no excuse for duplicate memorials !!

HOWEVER: if YOUR duplicate was created AFTER mine, FAG policy is that the newest duplicate be removed. So, in all fairness, if you would kindly remove your duplicate.

I have created memorials from local obituaries that do not have a burial placement. {Very common these days with cremations and no immediate burial placement}

Findagrave does not offer a lot of selections in their 'drop down' tab. The tab for "unknown" most often fits the category.

What often times happens, is that at a later date, a volunteer has located a grave marker in a cemetery that they have photographed and created a memorial, without looking if one already exists; BUT a previous memorial already exists... created but categorized as "unknown".

I have been asked to delete my original "unknown burial placement" from a creator of the second memorial (that was later located in a cemetery).... each having valuable information and/or family links.
The best solution is ..... contact and request a "merge" of the two memorials.
5) FAMILY LINKS: I feel it is important to link families.
I am happy to link family members when you request by using the 'Edit' tab.

Before I approve an 'edit', I will try to validate your information before I click 'approve'

If you want information added to a memorial:
go to the memorial, edit tab then use the "suggestion" tab to send me the information that could be added into the "bio section" by me to a memorial.
6) TRANSFER MANAGEMENT: If a memorial is of my family, I will not transfer.
I don't mind doing transfers, but one time I had a FAG member request a transfer of ALL of a particular family name from a about 18 of them!!!!!! That is way too extreme and not necessary.
For your extended family members, you may and should consider creating a Virtual Cemeteries to your contributor page.

Sarah Merrill
Hi, thanks for the information for Sarah's memorial. It has been added. Odd thing, someone else had sent me addt'l. info to add to her memorial as well. It's strange to receive two requests for the same person a day apart! Regards, Nadeen

Augusta Kreyche #178843732
L.Evans, I been mea ning to put Augusta on for over a year ! you beat me.....I started researching the names Stricker/Kreyche about 1992, then in about 1995 myself and a grand-daughter drove to Marinette, to Forest Home Cem, I inquired at the office, is Augusta buried on a lot with other family members, they said NO, she was in a single grave {no tombstone} they told us which section she was buried in, we went to that section, but there were no stones anywhere nearby, all single grave, no stones...we simply left it at that and said she is "over there" somewhere......her husband, Joseph Kreyche died in Sturgeon Bay 1938, is buried in a unmarked grave in St. Joseph Cem.... I will put him on in the next few days, and link them. could you change Augusta to Forest Home Cem, not Calvary.....I just linked her to 2 brothers in Manitowoc, I have one more sister to locate yet.

on another note, I have been trying for years to prove where is Henry Long and wife Delphine Long buried {in Bayside Cem} it seems very strange that they have NO stones}they had lots of family in StBay, they were early settlers. MPG

Charles B. Cassetty and his second wife
An announcement of the approval of a divorce decree for Charles and his wife Hattie appears on page 12 of the Reno Evening Gazette dated 12 March 1943. It seems that Charles immediately married his second wife as a notice of a marriage license appears on page 10 of the 13 March 1943 edition of the Reno Evening Gazette. There is a Nevada marriage certificate #157305 filed by Rev. Brewster Adams, Baptist Clergyman on 15 March 1943, Page No. 339.
