Bio Photo Hello, I'm from Tomah, Wisconsin. Born and raised here. So most of my family lived around this area, but they are hard to find.

Linenberg-Loasching-Eirschele-Jirschele-Mistele.are just a few i'm having problems with.

I have done alot of crafts and things, but i think i love walking thru Cemeterys and talking with them the best, they are very good listeners! They dont always answer, but i have had a few things that make me wonder. When you cant find someone, and you say something out loud. And a squirrel runs by, and sits on a headstone, you walk that way, and the one you want is very close.

Lewis is the name in the cemetery records, I have
not seen the stone to check (if there is one).
I also have a daughter, Ida Belle who married Frank Rathbun but she is not buried here in Greenwood.

Do you have any info that I could add?

George Jakob Dinger I
Hi Cindy:
I have sent a request asking you to transfer my Great Grandfather George. If you are a relative, and would like to maintain the memorial, I understand and would like to connect.

I would appreciate you getting back to me either way. I see you are from Tomah and we are planning the Dinger/Oswald Family reunion for May 20 and 21 of 2017.

Happy to have any help contacting relatives in Tomah and Sparta.

RE: Phebe Wood
Hi Cindy!

First, let me say that I'm not related to any of the following families, at all!

Finding Phebe & Jason is kind of a long story!

To preface the story; I, like you, do a lot of cemetery walking, take many photos of markers and have created thousands of Find A Grave memorials.

I created Find A Grave memorials for Anton W. & Mary (STEMMER) SARNOW. I began trying to find all their children in order to link them to the parent's memorials.

Their son, William Joseph SARNOW, married Thelma SOUTHWORTH.

Thelma's parents were: Harry Oscar SOUTHWORTH &

Alma's parents were: Leander BUFFMIRE & Rhoda WOOD.

Rhoda's parents were: Jason WOOD & Phebe (?).

Below I've copied/pasted source documents I used to find the family trail.

Dear Cindy, Thank you for the work you do to connect families with their history.

I am a descendant of Emmeline Wyatt Campbell. Her husband is Hiram Campbell who is my gg-grandfather.

I would like to connect her to her mother.

Thank you

Leonard Wilson and wife Matilda
Hi Cindy:
Working on my Dinger ancestors in the Leon/Sparta area, my relatives and I have hit a wall trying to find the graves of Leonard and his wife.

Leonard 1791-1859
Matilda 1812-1859

They are both said to have died in the same year in the town of Leon WI. We have checked with the historical society, local genealogy group and searched the main cemeteries. We believe they may be in a small farmers or family cemetery.

If you have any thoughts or ideas to help our research, we would be so pleased.

Thank you,

Henry Elias Wood
Memorial #35707780 you have marked that Henry was married twice. Julie Ann Fuller Wood (1818-1901) is his mother not his second wife.

RE: Plunkett
Sorry for the late reply.

In searching the cemetery directory I see 2 other Plunketts..

Sarah (nee: Plunkett) Davis (D. 1918)

Maggie (nee: Plunkett) Rumohr (D. 1881)

We will stop by there tomorrow and search for any others that may not be in the directory (and take photos of course)
