Bio Photo I've been researching my family history for over thirty years, inspired by the stories and tidbits that my Grandmother could relate for hours on end. I was especially happy to be able to verify most of her stories in the written and published records. I have also done research on my wife's lines and was amazed to find that my 15-Greats and her 16-Greats Grandfather were one in the same which makes us 16th Cousins, once removed.

I will be happy to transfer a memorial subject to the guidelines of Find-A-Grave

Permission is hereby granted to copy and use any photo that I have added to Find-A-Grave. Credit for the photo would be appreciated, but is not a requirement.

I added one that I had been sent in 2006 from someone who took for me. You may be able to get another which would be awesome.

Memorial transfer
Thanks so much for transferring those memorials to me. I am very pleased that it's possible, and as well, you are a Gentleman and a Scholar for quickly transferring my immediate family. You have helped me to learn a bit more about how to operate here, and the functions of this site. My Grandson has one and I will be asking the person over it as well. Thanks again, I have been away from the computer for a couple of days, sorry it took a few days to respond, kindest regards, Mark

RE: Edward Cary
Quite welcome, this is my Father, I will be getting some new pictures and adding my Mother as well as a few other immediate family members that are in the same cemetery. Things have been a bit busy lately and I now live about an hour away from my little home town. Newer here, so just trying to get started.

Regarding your email about the plots for her other family members, it's not a problem.

G. W. Aldridge Memorial
Thank you for transferring G. W. Aldridge's memorial to me. It wasn't necessary, but I appreciate it. I believe he was my great great grandfather and had hoped I was getting close to a "new" piece of information.

RE: G. W. Aldridge
I don't have any more accurate information. I don't have any definite proof that G. W. was my great great grandfather but have information that leads me to believe he is. I know that my Aldridge great great grandfather fought for the Union and had lived in Henderson County, TN, with his brother Thomas Aldridge. I know that there were only 2 Aldridges (Thomas & G.W.) from here, and they were with the 7th TN Cavalry. I know all of Thomas' family, so that leaves me with G. W. We have only a family story that says my great great grandfather Aldridge was killed as he was entering the gate as he returned home from the war. His son was said to be just a baby, when he died, which fits perfectly with G.W.'s death date. This story may not be true, but it's all I have. Thanks for replying.
