I consider my discovery of the Find A Grave website as truly serendipitous! I cannot bear the thought of people being forgotten after their souls depart this earth. So,I'm dedicated to doing my part by creating informative and respectful memorials for all my beloved relatives and pets who have gone before me. |
I enjoy photographing gravestones at my local cemeteries here in Northwest Oregon,and fulfilling photo requests from other Find A Grave members. Along the way, I have also created a few basic memorial sites for those departed who's gravestones I have photographed at random, usually because they are beautiful or unique in some manner. If I have created a memorial for a relative of yours and you wish to have me add information or, to transfer the memorial to you, I will gladly do so in accordance with Find A Grave guidelines.

You are welcome for the photo. I'm glad that you like it. It's tragic that your cousin died at such a young age.

Ernest Cabral was my great-uncle. My grandmother Maria Augusta Cabral was his older sister.
The story in our family is that Ernest's parents Antonio Agostinho Cabral and Josepha d'Azevedo Cabral emigrated to Hawaii in 1883 leaving behind 3 children that were visiting grand-parents on another island.
I'm trying to tie in the Hawaii Cabrals to my family story and went looking for their graves which I found last month while on a trip to Oahu with my sister.
Would love to hear of any family stories that you might of heard from your great-grandfather.

Ernest was my great-uncle. I just located his parent's gravesites at the Puuiki Cemetary in Oahu, Hawaii.

Hi, Thanks for the message. I went today to Denise's place of interment and there is still not a plaque on her stone, only a paper label with her name on it. As soon as I see a plaque there, I will take a photo of it. I took a photo of the stone and label today and can post that for now. She is up in the wall. I was told there are other family in there also. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to correspond. I can help you when you visit if you let me know.

|Lynne Rupp||William August Cabral|
Hi - William August Cabral is my grandfather, my mother is Mary Louise (Cabral), his second child. If you would like to contact me please use my email address email@example.com. I have the best memories of my grandfather and grandmother, they were a big part of my growing up years. I have just started on this ancestry quest, mostly because of my grandchildren. I am the last surviving member of the William/Sylvia Cabral family. Actually my first name is Sylvia,but was always called Lynne, just as Sylvia Delores was called Dee. I would enjoy hearing from you. Lynne
|Debra Garren||Relative of Barbara Gill|
I am a cousin of Barbara's. Barbara was the niece of my grandmother Lorraine Dorcey, who was also laid to rest at Cypress Memorial. I may have additional information for you to add to her memorial.
