Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started seriously researching my family when I was 19. It started with a trip the the cemetery with my grandfather, to see his grandparent's headstones...written in Polish. That's when the questions started, and I got "the bug". I've been at it ever since...some 30+ years. There is much truth to the saying, "In genealogy, it's never done". How true!

I'm so happy to see the amount of information that's now on the internet. And the multitude of people willing to help each other with their searches. I live far from my family roots now, so this has been an invaluable help to me...both the internet and the wonderful people who help along the way. I'm also happy to know that the work I've done has been useful to so many others...that makes it all worth it!!

The important stuff...

Please make any transfer requests, family links, or corrections, via the "Edit" link on the memorial.

If you are sending a request to add Family links to a memorial, please include the Memorial # of the person you want linked. Without them I will be unable to make the links for you.

I try very hard to make all corrections within a few days of receiving them. This isn't always possible, but I promise to make them in a timely manner!

Transfers... Please make requests via the Edit link on the Memorial. I will gladly transfer memorials for those whom I'm not related, if they are your immediate family members. (Per FAG guidelines) When making a transfer request please include your relationship. I do make exceptions occasionally.

Hello, in March this year I sent you the obit for his memorial. Just wondering if maybe it hit your Spamfilter and I need to resend it? Have a blessed day.

Please tell me how you determined that Sophia Magee’s maiden name is Perrottet?

Edna Freis Lorfeld Matthias #76543967
Hi, since she is linked on Find A Grave to both husbands would it be possible to change the surname you have given on her memorial to simply Matthias rather than Lorfeld Matthias, per Find A Grave guidelines? It would make it much easier to search for her name and would help prevent others from making duplicate memorials. Thank you.

Hi, just a reminder that you still have two duplicate memorials extant for Johan Traugott Oemichen in Saxon Cemetery.

RE: Manitowe Co. Milo Burtt Civil War Vermont
Thank you very much for the response to my request for permission to use Milo's marker photo. But also, thank you for mentioning the option of a more readable marker. I am going to request that one, but certainly hope that isn't offensive to you. I certainly appreciate all the help I have received with this project, and don't want to be 'tagged"as not appreciative by any of the members of F.A.G. that I have communicated with.
Have a safe and happy winter.

#76723959 Elmira Dale
Hi. Thank you for your excellent write up about my ancestor. Can you please tell me if you have any records that Elmira died in Denver? I live here & knew her daughter Mertie. I cannot find any reason Elmira was in Denver unless Mertie took care of her. Elmira is buried in Nebraska beside her husband. Thank you! Julie
