I live in Winn Parish, Louisiana. I am centrally located between 11 different cemeteries (Pine Ridge, Yankee Springs, Hurley, Martin-Lucky, Bethlehem, Sanders, Blake, Cockerham, Goldonna, Martin at the old Martin homeplace, Shady Grove - Bienville)so I don't mind doing transcription or taking photos. I have been doing genealogy for a little over a year now and I am absolutely obsessed! I am a member of the Winn Parish Genealogical society and am currently working toward joining United Daughters of the Confederacy and Daughters of the American Revolution.
My family has been in this area for more than 150 years so there are too many surnames to mention. I have tons of information that I am willing to share or If I do not have what you need I am willing to look it up.

RE: Pineridge Cemetery
Thank you for the directions to the cemetery, I want to know of the condition of Gilbert DeKalb Clifton's tombstone is presently in and put some flowers out for this man. I feel like I know him with all the research I have done on his family. Even today we found a photo of Henry Lee Clifton as a young child wearing a gown made out of a flour sack and written on it says Sam's brother. I think Henry Lee is the son of Joe Cenhus and Minnie Clifton and Jo is the son of Gilbert but it is late right now and will look at it again in the morning.
Thanks again for the directions

Pineridge Cemetery
I am wanting to go to Pineridge Cemetery in the next couple of weeks to photograph and see what can be done for Gilbert Decalb Clifton tombstone, he is my 2nd great-grandfather. I am also interested to see if any of his family members would like to contribute towards a new tombstone.

I have searched online for directions to the cemetery with no luck at all. If you could give me directions from Highway 167 I would deeply appreciate it.

my father, e.h. blake is buried at yankee springs cemetery. he should be listed as one of m.m. and Martha a. blake's children in the column. I noticed that he was left out of this listing. his headstone is listed as e.h. blake born july 9, 1909 and died july 13, 1960.
hope to hear from you.

Yankee Springs Cemetery
I am trying to find the grave memorial for Johnny Lee Weeks and Juanita 'Nita' Weeks. They show up on 'USGWARCHIVES' as being buried at Yankee Springs Cemetery.

They show no death dates.
The birth dates are Johnny Lee - Aug 9, 1931, and
Juanita - Oct 27, 1934.

I would appreciate any help you can give.
