|Thanks to all FAG contributors; I think FAG is a great project to be involved with.|
Entries are based on grave photos, obituaries and death records. I have photos of most entries, so if there is not a photo on the memorial you are interested in, please enter a photo request and I will get the photo posted if i have one. A warning: my photography leaves something to be desired at times; if you have a better photo, please add it.
I do not include names of living persons in obituaries. Also, a reference should be included in obituaries revealing the source.
I am happy to add family link and extra information into memorials. I almost always try confirm the information. I do not link to burial unknown memorials.
If you would like a transfer within FAG guidelines, please request it through the Edit-Suggest a correction tab.
I take all the photos that I upload to the site. Pictures may be copied for personal, non-commercial purposes (including adding to Ancestry.com, if desired); a small credit would be appreciated (but not necessary).

Sorry Bob. I forgot to put the memorial number.
Charles L. Abbott - Memorial# 115811377
Have a great day.

I noticed that the year of birth is not correct. The correct year is 1865. He was also the Kane County State's Attorney from 1916-1928. ~ Linda

Thanks for that info on the names. I had not heard that before. My German ancestors appear to have passed along the father's first name to the son for his middle name. Perhaps different regions and/or religions? I will pass the info on to my friend. Thanks again!

Thanks Bob for the stone photos. I was talking to the Landwehr's great granddaughter last night and as a side note, she was surprised to see Henry J. on the stone. Family records have his name as Johann Heinrich so that was quite interesting to her. Thanks again.
