Philetus Cincinatus Thrash
Tom, Thank you for the suggestion regarding Philetus C Thrash.
Unfortunately since I did not create the memorial, I cannot delete it. I did make a notation on the memorial where he is buried.
I don't know if the person who originally created it can delete it or not. I think I have tried once.

RE: James and Laura Stewart
You are quite welcome. We were at my cousin, Tom Valentine's graveside funeral at Pelican cemetary yesterday afternoon. After the service, I was able to fill all the open requests but one. This is an amazing website and has allowed us to reconnect both lost history and lost family.

William P Thrash
Tom, Thank you so much for the info for William P Thrash (88071534) and his siblings. So grateful. My Thrash Book which was written and compiled in 1976 by Ann Thrash did not have it split out like that. It was just clumped together. Her info did not even mention Cleora. I had found out by another source that Baker Steel Thrash was married to her after Essie.
I have not been into my email in forever. And then I could not access it for a long time. So I am sorry I have not gotten back to you before now. I think I have finally got all the info straight and the links applied.
I really love this Find A Grave site. I have notes all over my book with corrections and additions that were not included in it originally.
Keep that info coming.

RE: Dupree
It looks like we may be related. My 3rd great grandfather was John R. Dupree 1824-1850, son of John Deupree 1786-1838. The elder John Deupree was the brother of Drury Deupree, father of William Daniel Dupree, and grandfather of William Hymond Dupree. Drury is also buried at Mt. Zion in Meriwether County.

RE: J W Black
Tom, the information for J. W. Black came from church records from "Minutes of Mt. Zion Baptist Church". Several ladies surveyed the cemetery in 1997 and the death record for Mr. Black is the only time he's mentioned in the book. They're showing that H.H. Baughan is buried in site 2-39. Sites 2-38 and 2-40 are shown as unmarked sites. Mr. Black is in site 2-42. The Dupree family, who is related to me, is buried between the two men and also staring with site 2-43. I would think that given the proximity of the two men's graves, that this is the person you're looking for.

Tom, this information came from church records. I'll research it and let you know what I come up with. Judy
