I wish I could have gotten a cleaner picture but there was direct all around it.

OK, I added the other pic too. Anything else you want done, let me know. If there are any you don't want on their pages I can take them off.

I did it. I got your Katke pics. I was surprised that Harleen's name on the stone got all stained. I went up there yesterday and found the stone like this. I was hoping it was just moisture and that it would dry out. I went back up there today and it was still the same. I tried scrubbing her name with a brush and water and a bunch of grease. You know, "elbow grease", :-] to see if that would help. I went off doing other things and went back a couple hours later when it was good and dry and it did not change a single bit. It was still darkened. They do not polish that part of the stone where the name is like the real shiny rest of the surface of the stone. That is nice for a short period of time. The name stands out a whole lot better with the place where the name is in a lighter color. The trouble with that though, is that part, is bare stone which absorbs dirt and grime and in no time it is not a light color anymore.
Do you want different pictures on Harleen's page? Do you want to keep a copy of the stone with just her name before it was changed?

Your photo request you will have to contact Lake County Cemetery Maintience District at LCCMD@centurytel.net and ask the cemetery manager the location of this grave site. Then post that location on the memorial you want a photo of that tombstone, if there is one. If there is no tombstone would you be satisfied with a photo of the area close to where that person is buried?

You are very welcome. Who is this?
|The Hinckley Graver||Elisie Johnson et al|
I sent both johnsons. They are buried with Elsie's Cagney family. I'd like to send them as well with your permission to keep them together.

Actually that other person may be my brother :-) with the pdf file I sent to him.
|Daniel MacDondale||Emil C(arl) Vahl|
I am no relation-to (that I know of), but we recently encountered a photo of Emil Carl Vahl from 1898 in a "box in the attic," and noticed you have taken some interest in his gravesite. If you are also interested in a digital photo, let me know somehow. Best regards, Dan M.
