Lives in Evanston, Illinois. |
Please feel free to use any of my photos for your own research. If I find additional information (plot location or burial date) I type it in the photo caption, so be sure to check the caption. Most of the memorials I have added are extra photos taken while fulfilling a photo request and are not family. I am glad to transfer. sbritta1ATyahoo.com.
If you are looking for burials in Catholic Cemeteries in Chicago, the records are now available to anyone at "Family Search" Illinois, Archdiocese of Chicago, Cemetery Records, 1864-1989. There are more than 1.5 million indexed images of the records. Plot location, date and location of death as well as info on other family members buried at the same location. Some of the records from the 1800's were recorded at 1900. Example 1895 was recorded as 1995. Hope this helps you solve some puzzles.

|Fran Wallace||Thanks for the information|
I have added the burial location and requested a photo. I hope James and his wife Mary have a stone.
My confusion stems from being informed that Calvary had no record of him a year or two ago, when I inquired.
I did not know that information was on Family Search.

Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph my Great-Grandfather's headstone. I was unable to locate it on my last trip to Chicago and St. Boniface. I appreciate your time and effort!

Hello Susanne I moved the photo down. Thanks for all your efforts

First of all thanks for fulfilling my photo requests.
But I think for the above you have put the wrong photo on, but you have put the right one onto the memorial of Johann Peter Kohn 1860-1916. Thanks for looking into this.

Thank you for looking for a marker. I guess they didn't place one for him.

Interesting about the Feld. That group of Jene's do not seem to be connected to my tree, but I am sure they are somehow all connected. Jene was married into my ancestors, so I don't want to assume anything.
No, just leave Walburga without a photo.
But thanks, really appreciate your photos, especially if there are no stones, sometimes people just remove the request and say no stones, but I like to see the space where they are buried even if there is not stone.

|Kurt Tazelaar||Gunther headstone|
I received a notification that you had fulfilled my photo request for Maximillian Gunther, and on his page the notation at the bottom reads "No headstone found", along with a photo of a different family's headstone. Should I assume that your search yielded the approximate spot of his headstone?
