RE: re: John McNeal
Are your (deceased) ancestor McNeals all linked into the grave tree? Can you get any linked in that are not linked in? donna

RE: re: John McNeal
Just that I found him on a census with occupation as toll booth worker in PA. I think he lived for awhile in Ross county, Ohio on one other census. My great grandmother Mary Ward (White) who would be I think was his great granddaughter was born in Ross county, Ohio. He could be buried in Ross county maybe...I think there is a gravestone for an Archibald McNeal in one of the cemeteries there, but unclear if it was THAT Archibald McNeal or not...he could have lived with his daughter Erenia McNeal (Ward) in Ross county as he got older.

How do you know where they are buried in McNeal cemetery without a gravestone?

If you have a tree on ancestry.com and want to trade tree invites let me know.

I am also on a few DNA websites, if you are on any DNA websites.

they may all link back to Archibald McNeal...or maybe one of his siblings...

RE: re: John McNeal
Judy, Thanks for fixing that. I am related to some McNeals. Mostly they were in Indiana. Since people moved to where the jobs were or where their children were, I try to connect McNeals where I find them to see if they all link up somewhere. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work. I have a direct line to Erenia McNeal who married William Ward and had a daughter Mary Ward who married George W. White Jr. (my g grandparents). Mary and George lived in Cols, Oh. Erenia and William Ward lived in Indiana (if I am remembering right). I have them linked into a tree that leads back to an Archibald McNeal (1784-?) who was a toll booth worker in PA but lived in Ross county, Ohio for a time. One of his sons moved to Indiana and bought some land and lived there. donna

re: John McNeal
Hi Judy, somehow, maybe through a merge, a photo of grass that you took at McNeal cemetery for John Alexander McNeal wound up on a memorial for John Evan McNeal by mistake. can you take it off the one in the cemetery in Michigan?

John evan mcneal

john alexander mcneal

I was working on McNeals and got confused between the two John McNeals and for awhile thought they were the same one. I believe they are correctly linked now, just the one photo is wrong for the cemetery in Michigan. Sorry for the mixup..

Koos photo
Thank you for posting the photos of the Koos family. I recently indexed Phillip Koos will, if you are interested in that. I believe the actual will is shown at the Adams County Gen Web site.
