I photographed and uploaded a few other Kerns that I located while there. If you haven't already go to newtoncemetery.com and click their link to search by last name. There are quite a few there.
|J. Edward Ross||Re: Arthur R Siemon|
You sent me several edit requests for Arthur R Siemon's memorial page (see 72364284). I can NOT complete the edits with out a primary source.
According to the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) website, here is Mr Siemon's information which matches what I have entered on his memorial page:
SIEMON, ARTHUR R
S SGT US ARMY
WORLD WAR II
DATE OF BIRTH: 05/28/1921
DATE OF DEATH: 04/21/2007
BURIED AT: SECTION 32 SITE 2018
CALVERTON NATIONAL CEMETERY
210 PRINCETON BOULEVARD RT 25 CALVERTON, NY 11933
You requested that I change all three of the identifying fields: Name, Birth Date, and Death date.
It's highly unlikely that the DVA has erred on all three fields. It is more likely that you have mistaken my Mr Siemon for your Mr Simon.
Are you sure you and I are talking about the same person?
I'll be more than happy to make the changes after you provide sources for the information you provide.
Have another great day,

You are very welcome!
|Dennis Bell||George W Mathis|
Barb, Your record for George W Mathis, Find A Grave 103710082, is located in the wrong Brethren Cemetery. There are actually 2 Brethren Cemeteries in Polk county, Iowa about 10 miles apart. Please edit the cemetery location and move your record over to the "Brethren Cemetery" which is outside Elkhart, Iowa. Currently you have your record in the "Church of the Brethren Cemetery" outside Maxwell, Iowa. Once you move your record you will find there is a duplicate record for George already there, Find A Grave 114708663. Let me know when it has been moved and I can add a tombstone picture to your record and get in touch with Mark Parmenter and have him delete the duplicate record.
Just started to look for my Grandpa Dewey A. Wymer and it has led my on a journey. Some of their children names are not listed. If you can help, how do I add them. debbie

You're very welcome Barb. Always glad to help!

Hi Barb. Sure. I missed it the first time through the section, because the side with the writing on it is opposite of the rest of the row, and so it faces into a magnolia bush. But glad to find it! *Janice

I also took pics of Grady E & A and Anita Bradshaw. Didn't see a memorial for them so not sure you wanted them

We took pictures of all the graves since there were so few. There was one small one wit just rocks piled in a oval shape we don't know who that is.
