Love looking for family and all that goes with it. |
Feel free to email me with any questions.
I lost my great grandparents, my grandparents, my parents and my photos, my children, my spouses and all the other genealogical materials I had in a fire in 2006... Had all that stuff stored in a very expensive safe, but the safe didn't survive the infernal of over 3,000 degrees in one of those arson fires... I am grateful for what I had uploaded to ancestry and wish that the other 3,000 items had been uploaded...so I am very grateful for other's that share... Thanks so very much....
For the state of Oklahoma, they have another website with headstone photos. http://www.okcemeteries.net
Click on the county, then the cemetery and you can find all the headstone photos that are posted. Enjoy.
I am searching for all lines that link, no matter how distant the person or place... Thanks for any help along the way..
I don't need to own all my family memorials, but I do want to find my family.... I have over 100,000 family members, so all you volunteers and memorial providers, thanks in advance.... I only wish that if you are going to have a family member of mine, that you try to keep it updated...if I send you info... Thanks again for all the hard work you volunteers do for the rest of us...
I only take photos in the spring and early fall... but I know there are a ton of volunteers out here, so your requests will get done..
If you need a transfer, just ask...
Here is a deal I will make for you... I love sharing and will share just about anything (husband says too much sharing) but I do love sharing. Enjoy anything you find and you can copy it and I need no credit.
I find missing loved ones all the time that I never got a chance to meet... I am so grateful for family and strangers that I have met that are willing to share their information. What a joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...
Any Memorial transferred to me from my cousin Cynthia Osborn will not be transferred as I manage all her memorials for her....Thank you.

I am so glad I could help! The cemetery is terribly overgrown. The perimeter had been mowed, but all the graves are in dire need of a weedeater. I was able to break off a lot of the long, dry grasses that covered some of the stones and sure was wishing I had some clippers with me.

In running around with my Parkers, and now the Bordeauxs, I keep running across memorial notes left by Gloria. Are we chasing the same people?

Thank you so much for your help with the Fulks FitzWarins. I added the number of succession to the Barons bios as a result of your help in untangling the memorials. I had confused the step where Elizabeth became 8th Baroness after the death of her 14 year old brother the 7th Baron in addition to misidentifying her parents. I guess we must be at least 17 generations of colateral relation since this is my direct line also.
Thank you again for your kind assistance.

You're very welcome! This one was one of the more challenging ones. I switched it out last night. It was better in a little more darkness.

Someone has confused the Eli Haynes in this memorial with the Eli Haines that served in Company D of the 6th Missouri Volunteer Infantry Regiment and who was married first to Mary Branson and secondly to Francis "Fanny" Smith whose maiden name is unknown. The Eli Haynes in this memorial served in the 50th Ohio Infantry Regiment as shown on his headstone. The place of burial of Eli Haines is unknown. Francis "Fanny" Smith is my 2nd Great Grandmother. I would appreciate you deleting the bio that was added regarding Eli Haines Civil War Service and the wound he suffered in his elbow which eventually killed him. Thank you.

I think this may be one of your kin.

You're very welcome! It was interesting to me to discover that there are apparently no headstones for Chris Kregel and Mary (Kregel) Rademacher.

You're Welcome Gloria. I'll go back out there next week (my daughter is having surgery today) and look again, and I'll go to the office to see if they know if there is a stone or not. 2/3 of that section does not have stones.
