2017 season is here in Ohio. I have plans on going to NC this July and working my Smith line in Greensboro, NC. Should be exciting. Here in Ohio, I am still working on my Ward family up in Westville, OH. I want to place flowers on every grave up there that are related to me. I hope to start next month. HAPPY SPRING!|

The cemetery is on private property.

I am trying to find information on the Smith family from Tennessee, primarily that of Jackson G Smith who married Malinda Terry and had a son Josiah Joseph Smith. I am interested in Jackson's parents and grandparents. I've been searching, but getting conflicting information, and would appreciate any help I can get.
Blessings to you in the New Year, KLC

Helen, I am a direct descendant of Ransoms father Gulielmus Smith and as I read the various messages from folks on find a grave many of them are names I have encountered in my genealogy search. I am in search of Gulielmus Smith's wife first name and any info on her family. The only thing I have found identifies his wife as "Indian Smith". I have also met members of the Hoke family from the Second Creek, Monroe,West Va. area, are you related to people in that area? Any info you or any of your contacts may provide will be deeply appreciated. Mike

I don't know what is involved with supporting an existing site. I am descended from William and Nancy's son, John, who with his brother Victor moved to Madison, Indiana in 1817.
Anyhow....I think you are doing a wonderful job, but if it is a lot of work, I would be happy to help....although I live in California (smile)

Can you please tell me where you found info on place of birth? If you can send me that data / scan of document, that would be great. I'll add it to the memorial when I get it and to my personal files. Thank you! I will decline the edit until I hear from you - then add it asap.
Enjoy your weekend!
I am researching the Moss Family. My connection
is through Lucy Ann Moss Sandefur. Spouse of
Henry Charles Sandefur.
In This Search, it tells Lucy Ann Was born
April 20th 1817. Henderson Co Kentucky.
Her Parent's According to Ancestry are John and
Nancy Ann Kelly. This record was right so far on
the birth and death of John Moss. 1761-1835.
Nancy was born according to Ancestry in
Granville Co Nth Carolina. It pulled back John's
parents were Reuben Benjamin Eaton Moss Oct 10th
1738-Feb 10th 1819. And Martha Ann Jordan.
Feb 15th 1750-she passed in 1815 in Granville Co
Virginia. I would greatly appericate any help with info you might have I'm really flustrated with these pay geneology sites. for when you add information some of these contributors get really nasty. Thank-you

Oops! Louisa married Alexander in 1842, not 1843 and the divorce was filed Aug. 19, not the 18th. My apologies for the typos.
Thank you again,
Sylvia - who must get more coffee now....

I'm pretty certain that this memorial actually belongs to Louisa M. Steinbarger Pence. Eliza may be a nickname?
Louisa/Eliza was born April 23, 1825 in Urbana Township to David Steinbarger (39861247) and Elizabeth Lydia Pence (39861316). She died Jan. 16, 1907.
She was married to Alexander Pence (159514521), my 2nd great-grandfather, Mar. 3, 1843 to 1863. Louisa filed for divorce Aug. 18, 1863 - he had started another family with Sarah Ann Sifers (11585227) before divorcing Louisa and marrying Sarah (my 2nd great-grandmother). Yeah...what can I say...if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be here....
I have posted 2 obits that might help if you need additional information: http://sylviaheisler.com/ancestors/louisa.htm
The above numbers in parenthesis are the Find A Grave Memorial numbers.
Best wishes and Happy Holidays!

Hello. I noticed you've created several memorials for people buried in the Adkins Cemetery, Campbell County, TN. My husband's ancestors are members of this Adkins family, and we've been trying unsuccessfully to find the Adkins Cemetery. Can you tell me any information on how to find this cemetery?

Helen, I'm embarrassed to say that I've lost the correction you'd like me to make. My computer has been done. Could you send it to me again? I'll do it immediately. I love Find A Grave and want to keep it accurate! I'm sorry for the mixup on my part. Geri
