Joshua Hood #152679469
Hello,

Please remove Mary Evans as the spouse of Joshua Hood. The book "Founders of Ann Arundel and Howard Counties" states that his wife was Matilda Haughey. The photo in the memorial also gives the wife's name as Matilda.

Death Date for Henry W. Heird
Hi Ron,
I am a descendant of Henry W. Heird. While researching the family, I came across Henry W. Heird's information listed on Find a Grave. The death date is incorrect. Henry died in 1891, not 1831,while living in Easton, Maryland. Please make the correction. Thank you.

Nicholas Weller
What do you know about Nicholas Weller? You know he was born in Germany as was his wife.

My great grandmother, whom I remember well, was born Jul 1866 in Maryland and she told me that her parents were born in Prussia. That she grew up in Potters Field.

Nicholas Weller had a daughter Kate who was born 1866.

Dates fit, but not the story as told by my great grandmother, for Nicholas, per the census, came to the U.S. when he was 10. My great grandmother told me that her father was a caretaker for Potters Field and never learned English.

Census says that Nicholas was a Blacksmith, and the monument is rather large, probably erected by his son, Nicholas Jr.

George W. Fowler
Do you any more information re Geo. W. Fowler buried in Loudon Park Cemetery. I am trying to locate my Great-Grandfather. The 1900 and 1910 Census listed him as married to Mary Fowler with five children. However, the 1920 Census listed Mary as a widow. This George W. Fowler has the closest age to the George I'm looking for. I am wondering if he divorced Mary for a younger woman, Lillie. If I could look at an obituary, it might provide more identifying information or if you happen to know anything. Thanks. Bill

Catherine Michael
Ref Catherine Michael 152209783 being a duplicate of 29936771 - it is - but I have marked my memorial as "just to document the unused stone - and have linked it to 29936771. I have found that it is better to "document" the unused stone since I research all my memorials - than to leave it and have someone come behind me that doesn't do any research and put it in Find A Grave. Hope that explains the duplicate. Thanks for the heads up, and thanks for your work in Find A Grave.
