I have stopped making transfers for right now. I have been backtracking my postings to make corrections or add information. I would rather make all the updates before I pass the posting. |
For those requesting transfers, please read the Find A Grave rules on requesting them. These can be found on the FAG home page under frequently asked questions. We should only request Direct Relatives (ie: parents, siblings, grandparents and great-grandparents up to 4 generations) be transferred. When requesting a transfer, please use the edit button and state the relationship that person is to you. When posting a name, please make sure that person has not been posted already.

Thanks for the transfers! Thank you also for creating the original memorials. Much appreciated.

I agree with you that this person is Mathew and not Martha. I changed the name and will work on verifying the other information that has been added. Thanks for pointing this out.

It appears as though I have a duplicate memorial for Amelia Ann (Ream) Porter 118281153 Coventry Twp, Summit Co, OH and your 13742539 Medina Co, OH. Your's is probably exactly where she is buried and mine is probably a cenotaph, with her name placed on her husband's headstone. I would like to combine these two memorials and then take mine down after you have included the information placed on 118281153.

|Sharon Tuck||Researching J D Wheeler...|
Hello Margaret. I'm doing ancestry research and came across my GGGrandfather, J.D. (John Daniel) Wheeler, buried in the Poe Cemetery. According to Ancestry.com info he was the husband to Lois Ann Van Ornam. I found both JD and Lois in the Poe Cemetery; however, I see that Mira Hitchcock is listed as J.D. Wheeler's spouse and I believe she was his mother. I have a birth date for J.D. of 25 Mar 1827. Is there any way you can confirm this information, one way or the other. It would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Did I make a suggestion otherwise? I usually go with what is on the death certificate unless I've seen the headstone elsewhere and I don't see that note in my records.
I've entered records for over 150 Fleming relatives into the data base and may have crossed the lines. Iam taking a break from that line for a couple of weeks. If I muddled the facts I am sorry.

I had requested a photo of my cousin's grave. Unfortunately, the person who went to Oakwood Cemetery reported that they have no record of her being interred there. Would you please check you copy of the Ohio DC #40577 to confirm burial location.

Thank you for the cemetery correction.
Hello Margaret- I'm looking for confirmation of the burial of Gabriel at Overton. The cemetery records to not have him listed, and I was not able to locate documentation for him with a brief search. Are you able to help so that we can correct the records? Thank you.
Hello Margaret- Are you able to confirm the burial of Richard Walton in the Overton cemetery? They have no record of him being there and I cannot find any information. The dates given for Richard match the infant Raymond Edward Walton, who is buried there. Any help would be helpful in correcting the cemetery records. Thank you!

I certainly understand. One would assume he is there, but stranger things have happened. I'll pass the information on- if you do happen to come across the info, it would still be helpful. I'll try to look again at some point. Thanks!
