I have stopped making transfers for right now. I have been backtracking my postings to make corrections or add information. I would rather make all the updates before I pass the posting. |
For those requesting transfers, please read the Find A Grave rules on requesting them. These can be found on the FAG home page under frequently asked questions. We should only request Direct Relatives (ie: parents, siblings, grandparents and great-grandparents up to 4 generations) be transferred. When requesting a transfer, please use the edit button and state the relationship that person is to you. When posting a name, please make sure that person has not been posted already.

Thank you. This does help. I thought it might be in a church publication.

Thank you for all you have done and are doing on Find A Grave. Your efforts have helped my research tremendously.
On the above-referenced memorial you posted what looks like an obituary. Do you remember where you found it? I have not been able to find the exact same verbiage. I do have four obituaries/stories from newspapers but none of them match exactly. Could this have come from a church publication?
Michael is my first cousin twice removed.
Thanks for your help.

|Bonnie Morris Conrad||Mary Lee|
I see you post a lot of stones so don't know if you had personal knowledge of this one or not. Mary Lee is the gr gr gr grandmother of my daughter in law and I'm trying to research her family for her. In doing so I found a death record for George Lee husband of Mary Lee that you so kindly posted with her obituary which made it so easy for me to post him and connect them. The death record says there is a stone with the word Father on it. Do you have any stone records pictures of that area where they are buried? Thank you for making find a grave The great site that it is.

Thank you for letting me know.
|William Ream||Myrtie Ream Wall|
Thank you for the posting her death certificate on her memorial. It is nice to see that previous genealogists who left me information concerning her relationship to me were accurate. Her great-grandparents, Philip & Mary Altman Ream, are my 4th great-grandparents.
Thanks for the update. I've fixed the site & linked his father, Peter, as well.
