Bio and Links
Bio Photo My family doesn't understand my obsession for recording headstones, uncover Markers and link lost family members. I have dug my way in the bushes and scraped many headstone for others. I love doing research on my family tree. Everyone should have their name etched in history. I hope to help provide this information. Currently working on my Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) and plan on working on (DAR) Daughters of the American Revolution.
research :Abernathy, Allred, Blanton,Buchanan, Clepper, Garner, Gilbert, Herrington, Lackey, Mason, Neeley, Pace, Pierot, Powell, Sledge, Smith

Be kind to this web site for its mission to find a grave--tombstones not a family album unless you are willing to sponsor this memorial.

I have chosen Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery to be my goal to photograph the entire cemetery.
I have completed all sections. I started July 2010 on Sec H & I and I plan on doing updates.

Any and all pictures can be used without any further contact, I took them for your use. Thank you for allowing me to help and enjoy your search as much as I do.

Houston Boyd
Thanks for letting me know about the dup I created for Houston. I moved my photo to the original. It also filled a request for a photo, so this was a double win.

I think I will start looking for recent memorials that were added after your great work in documenting the cemetery. Do you have a suggested area that I might start in. I have recently done Section H, AA and the mausoleum. Maybe I will just go alphabetical. I hope you are doing better.

Nicholas X Counts
Hi Brenda. I have 3 marriages for Nicholas X Counts.

First was Elizabeth Sharp (they married in 1750)
Second was Anna Mary Ottey (they married in 1776)
Third was Susannah Taylor (they married Abt. 1795)
There were children from all 3 marriages.

Hope this helps. George

RE: Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery
I did the large mausoleum. I started on the farthest East section, found a number of memorials that had not been done, and filled a request, not on purpose!. I added new folks in the Jewish section R.

Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery
Hi, I see you are working of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery. I wanted to let you know that I have now photographed and added memorials for section H and the large Mausoleum, inside and outside. If there is another section that you have not done I would be pleased to help you with your quest to cover the complete cemetery.

Have you done the "sister" cemetery down the street?
