Bio Photo I am a retired programmer, interested in Genealogy, Computers and Traveling. I live in the Detroit Area and will be more than happy to visit any cemetery and take a picture of a grave of interest. Any of the pictures or other information that I have posted to findagrave.com can be used by anyone for whatever volunteer purpose they would like. You may not use the pictures if they will be used for a make for profit purpose. Other than family members any memorials will be transferred to you if requested. I would prefer transferring the memorial to you than to add or make changes to the memorial. Also please give me a little time to transfer the memorials. Thanks

Transfer of Deede Mason 6706906
You recently transferred her memorial to me....I don't know why you did this, as I have never requested the transfer, nor am I related to this person.

I am transferring it back to you; if you no longer wish to manage the memorial, perhaps you could delete it? It is a duplicate.

Sincerely,

Theresa

David Stephens - Find A Grave Memorial 16585490

Jack, You have David F Stephens listed as David P. Stephens. His middle initial is F - the F stands for Fellows - his mother's maiden name. You also have his birth date listed as his son's birth date. David F Stephens was born October 22, 1819 in New York to Elisha Stephens (1787 - 1837) and Lousia Fellows Stephens (1794 - 1831. Elisha's Find A Grave Memorial is 7497760. He buried in Curtis Cemetery, Shelby Township, Michigan. Louisa Fellows Stephens' Find A Grave Memorial is #121374835. She is buried in Rochester Junction Cemetery. Mendon, New York.
David F Fellows married Mary Vandenburg on March 2, 1847 in St. Claire, Michigan. In 1848 they moved to a farm located one mile north and one mile west of Yale where they raised their large family. At the time, Brockway Township was dense wilderness. 5 sons and 5 daughters were born there: David, Omar, Franklin, Orlando, Hiram, Mary, Deesta, Celia, Ardella, Racenia. David F Stephens died on March 21, 1869, age 49 and was buried in McFadden Cemetery Yale St. Clair County Michigan. He died without a will, and his estate was administered by his brother, Henry Stephens.

Your Memorial for Maggie Stephens - dates unknown.
I have been researching our Stephens family for years. I believe Maggie Stephens is
Margaret L Stephens, 1st wife of George A Stephens. She was born abt. 1876 in Indiana to Joseph Scribner and Margaret Mavis. She Died April 12, 1902 In Brockway, Michigan. Maggie (Margaret) and George were married Sept 20, 1900 in Elk Township, Sanilac, Michigan.

George's parents - David F. Stephens, Jr. and Annie (Anna Eliza Godden) are both buried in McFadden Cemetery, and Anna has just "Annie" on her headstone - also an unknown. Their headstones have been vandalized and are broken.

It would be nice if Maggie had some "flesh" put on her bones if you would add details. . :-)
Most Sincerely, Mary Ellen Hermann

Sandy Hill Cemetery Also known as: Coppernoll Cemetery
Hello. I am writing to you regarding Sandy Hill Cemetery, also known as Coppernoll Cemetery. This cemetery is located in Scofield, Monroe County, Michigan. I am questioning as to whether the picture you posted is truly of that cemetery. The picture that was not posted by you is what the cemetery has looked like for a very long time. I am wondering if your picture could be of the Old St. Pat's Cemetery in Carleton, Michigan? While I am not 100% certain what cemetery your picture IS of, I know it is not Sandy Hill. As to not mislead the people who view the Sandy Hill page, would you please consider looking into this matter, and possibly removing your picture of Sandy Hill? Thank you in advance for your reply.

SUE HENRY
Mount Avon - Mary Ann Hadley

I am trying to locate where my great grandma is buried. She died on March 24, 1926 at 332 Oak St Rochester, MI. Her obit says that she was buried at Rochester on 3/30/1926 but I can not find record of that in any of the cemeteries for Oakland Co. Is there any way you could help? I am from McBain MI and never get down that way. Her name was Mary Ann Hadley, Her obit says she was born 1/23/1837 and died 03/24/1936. I would sooooo appreciate any help you could give me.
Thanks
Sue

John B. Woods and his wife, Louisa
Hi! I have a death certificate for John B. Woods died Feb 28, 1936. Buried March 2 or 3rd 1936 in Holy Cross Cemetery in Marine City.

Online there is two graves listed of his parents Jesse and Ellen. Do you get to that area?

John Bernard (?) Woods date 1871-1936

his wife Julia Ludovica "Louise" Rose Woods
1874 - ? She signed the death certificate of John so she died 1936 or later.

Wondering if their graves have not been listed on find a grave.

Thank you
