RE: Frank Monday Headstone
HI Ed, Yes, I did find the Hinch Cemetery in May 2016, with some help from someone who lives in Spring City. The Vaughn Funeral Home there got me in touch with him. I know how to get there now, and plan to go back there again in the future.
I wish I had gotten better pictures of Frank Monday's gravesite while I was there, to better show the area Oh well. Always another time.
I also found another Hinch Cemetery, sometimes referred to as the Miller Hinch Cemetery (with much help from someone else in Spring City). I have found out that I can't find them on my own, especially the ones in the mountains.
So my grandfather was Stewart Hinch, his parents were James Nathan Hinch and Emily "Emma" Harris, and Emily's parents were Lorenzo Dow Harris and Lucinda Monday, and her parents were Frank Monday and Rebecca Hawkins.
My next puzzle is to try to find out why Frank and Elizabeth are buried where they are.
So good to keep in touch, and I am so glad to have found this.
Fondly, Cuz Carol

Frank Monday gravesite
Hello cousin Ed,
Hi - I wanted to let you know i just uploaded two photos of Frank Monday's grave marker. I found it with help from two local folks who live in Spring City. It is not actually in Harris Cemetery at all, but way up in the hills on private property. I attached a description of where it is as best I can remember. Basically, from Grandview TN, take Alloway Rd to Loyd Knox Rd. From there travel up this narrow road until you get to a house and a fork in the road ( or fork in the path). take the left fork and drive a couple hundred yards, The grave is about 75' into the woods on the north side. We put duct tape around a tree that marks the spot to park and walk into the woods. But this was last November 2016 when I was there. I somehow forgot to upload these pix to Find A Grave.
Its so cool to have found it.

Thank you so much for the wonderful picture of Brian in his uniform. The one from the paper was bad. I have changed his photo order.

RE: Frank Monday
Good Morning, Ed-
Thanks for your reply.
How am I related to Frank? He is my three times great uncle. I think.

I am descended from Hiram Hill and Jane Monday Hill, three times great grandparents. Jane is Frank Monday's sister. Also, Hiram Hill is brother to Frank's second wife, Elizabeth Hill Monday. So Monday brother and sister married Hill brother and sister. Does that make us double cousins at some level? Ha!

In life it looks like the Monday siblings stuck together. Frank, William, Elizabeth and Jane lived in close proximity. It is our current assumption they were close in burial, too. William is at Dogwood and Frank/Elizabeth at Harris along with their daughter. We are hoping to find Hiram and Jane in the general vicinity.

Any insight you have would be greatly appreciated. Have you found where Arthur and Rebecca Monday are buried?

Frank Monday
Ed-
My name is Nancy and I am traveling to Rhea and Cumberland County for some genealogy research on Oct 19. I am descended from the Monday family and would like to visit Harris Cemetery in Cumberland County during my visit. Can you tell me where to find Frank Monday's grave once we arrive at the cemetery? Any direction would be appreciated.

Thanks very much.

James Lewis Riley #81748280
I had a photo request in for James Lewis Riley gravestone in the Layfayette Memorial Park in NC.
I received this message from findagave:

"a Find A Grave volunteer has reported a problem with the photo request for James Riley.
The general problem they reported is:
Cemetery office has no record of this person."

However he is listed by the Coffelt Database of Vietnam casualties to be in that cemetery.

Do you know why the cemetery states he is not there, or do you have any further info on James Riley.

thanks for any info you can give me! Anna
