Bio Photo I'm a retired and disabled Engineering Assistant and had spent many hours walking in Valley View Cemetery. I have many friends and relation I would like to post on Find-A-Grave. Sadly I have lost my ability to walk so my picture taking days are over.

Dr Sabine Civil War Service
You are correct that Dr. Sabine served in the 76th Ohio Volunteer Infantry but the gravestone is also correct. Just today I came upon the Report of Surgeon General of Ohio, November 15, 1866 published 1867 listing all Ohio medial officers from the Civil War. This documents that Dr. Sabine started as an Asst Surgeon in 26th OVI (Ohio Volunteer Infantry) and then was promoted to Surgeon of the 76th OVI where he completed the war. Thank you for your service to Find A Grave. MMH

RE: Clarabel Brennaman Wilson
You know, I really meant Josephine, not Anna. That's his wife and is just plain silly. lol

RE: Clarabel Brennaman Wilson
Would this make Anna his stepmother?

RE: Clarabel Brennaman Wilson
I see that this wasn't Clarabel Long, but Clara Brennaman Wilson. Is this a sister of Harvey's? Sorry about the confusion - such a large family.

Clarabel Brennaman Wilson

Thank you so much for the pictures of the Brennaman headstones. My distant cousin was once married to a Quint and I'm adding her children's family to my tree. This will mean a lot to them.

I had a question about Clarabel's birth date - it is only a few years off from her mother's birth date (Anna Immoroth Brennaman). Can you pls verify the dates for me?

Also noticed that there is an Emma Brennaman buried near all the other Brennaman family. Do you know how she is related?

Hope all is well,
Kal in Oregon

Thank you
I'm working on family buried at Valley View Cemetery and I'm hoping that I can have permission to use a copy of your picture of the cemetery. I would give your name as the person who took it and first posted it here at Find A Grave. Thank you for making our search for family a lot easier. Carole
