Genealogy and graving, are two of my many hobbies. I'm also a history buff.|
I started recording cemeteries over 8 years ago
-- that's history and genealogy all rolled up into one. Walking cemeteries is also another way to get some exercise. Since I'm former military, I try and get photos of military gravestones.
I also try and help people find their ancestors in portions of Beaver and Washington counties, Pennsylvania; East Liverpool, Ohio and Chester, West Virginia.
I'm one of those genealogy search angels. If you are at that proverbial brickwall with your genealogy research in Beaver County, Pa., Hancock County, WV and/or Columbiana County, Ohio, I'll be glad to try and help in your search.
I also put abbreviated obits on FindAGrave that I see in the newspaper. If you see any errors or want to add something to any of my submissions, please let me know. If you want to make corrections to a memorial, please use the edit button on the memorial. I'll be able to get to the memorial and edit it a lot quicker going thru findagrave's system.
I'm also more than glad to transfer memorials to family members. Please include your member number.
If you are going to email me, please include the memorial's link as well as your member number.
Please list FindAGrave and/or the name of the cemetery in the subject line so your email doesn't end up as Spam and possibly get deleted.
If you want to suggest changes to a memorial, please use the edit tab on the memorial.
In accordance with Findagrave: Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

|PastorDeb||Frederick Humbert Memorial|
Hi... I have a question about Memorial # 21249843 for Frederick Humbert, my third-great grandfather. Our family has long been trying to document his parentage and are wondering how you arrived at his middle name being "Ditmar." We have no information on his middle name, but have seen many researchers post that name on their family trees without documentation, and with numerous links to various parents, spouses and children. There were several generations of Frederick Ditmar Humbert's... but we have nothing to indicate that our Frederick was one of them. Can you tell me more? Thanks for any light you can shed on his identity. Deb Huffmyer

I should have added - if they turn out to be connected to your research, please let me know and I'll transfer them

As well as the church at Bruera, there is St Peter's in the nearby village of Waverton.
I was there this week for someone else's enquiry and I kept an eye out for any Harnott graves as it is in the same area.
There are three generations of Harnotts buried more or less side by side -
I've put them all on with the references:-
I hope they're of use.

No problem - Both done.
I've no family connection to them, I just recorded a lot of the older headstones at Bruera before they became unreadable.
Some of my wife's family are buried there but none are Harnott's, they are Phillips, Roberts, and Dawson.

Thank you so much for getting this picture. I didn't expect at this time of year to be so quick in reply.

I would like to thank you for the memorials to my mother and my father Lester A. Gaines, but I would like to offer a correction. My sister Vivian "Joanne" States was married to Darrel E. States, not Daniel.

I don't know how you are, but I must thank you for all your work. I am working on my family tree, and thanks to you, so many questions on the tree are now answered. The photos make all the difference in the world, and I know how much work is involved in taking the photos and making the memorials.
I wish you all the best.
