Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi fellow grave hunters. I have been working on my family tree along with my husbands for several years and sometimes when you don't have a picture of an individual while on earth a grave photo is the next best thing. It's kind of personal and gives them a bit of character. I live in South Florida. If you contact me directly please please put FAG in the subject box of your email so it does not go to my spam folder.

With all due respect this website is "Find a Grave" not "connect the dots". I will not link memorials to others unless the other grave is found. Most of the time I know who the parents, siblings and spouses are but until the grave is found I do not link. Chances are I'm looking for the same persons grave so be prepared to show me proof.

I have been personally involved in every memorial I have created or manage.

Sorry I don't have a better photo. It was taken several years ago with an older camera.

the memorial looks good. That's how I was trying to get you to do it in the first place.

Request for a tranfer of maintenance
Hello "Nay" -
Thanks so much for posting my Everhart relatives on Find A Grave. Would you be kind enough to transfer over the maintenance to me for the following:
1- William Wesley Everhart (my great great grandfather)
2 - His wife/my great great grandmother Eva Casey Everhart
and
3 - their daughter/my great aunt Gladys Everhart Hamilton Thompson West

If there are more peeps out there, I get back to you

I have some more family members to add to their pages and some personal photos

Thanks so much for getting us started!

Hi Nay,

I wanted to thank you for providing a great photo of my 2nd Great Grandfather's headstone in Quebec. Paperwork was lost as to where he was buried there. His wife and children are buried in Massachusetts. They did add his name to the headstone with his wife per her request. If you would like additional information to place on his page, please let me know. Do you transfer memorials or prefer to keep it?

Thanks again!
Cathie

RE: Ammon McCoy
I had went ahead and added him to the McCoy Family Cemetery...but I would prefer your's be on there since you had him on Find A Grave first. I'll add the pic and remove my add on.

Thank you Nay...

Sorry. The edit key is not working to send messages tonight so I have to contact you this way. I've sent you an edit on this lady and I want to explain why.

Whew! What a name.
I know she has all those names on her headstone, but with all those it's impossible to find her. I have a book on the cemeteries in Monroe Co., Iowa. she's listed as Gladys West, as that's what her death certificate reads.
I know that all these surnames were hers at one time, and they are all on her stone, but only by 2 of them, did she have children. Probably not with the last, Thomas West. I can't even find him to attach him to her. I'm sure he's with a previous wife. Many people married later in life for companionship, knowing they would be buried with a different spouse. My grandmother did. I know that her 2nd husband, the grandpa I knew, was a Johnson, but my grandchildren and later generations will never think to look for her under that name. So what I did was attach her to both husband, and wrote in the bio that she died as a Johnson. I would do the same thing in this case... attach her to all her husbands, say in the bio that she died as a West, in case someone wants to view her actual death certificate, and since she was a widow at 23 and spent the majority of her life as a Thompson, I'd use that surname on her memorial. She only had 1 Hamilton child, and her Hamilton husband is buried in a different state. She's buried next to her Thompson husband and her Hamilton grandchildren will know that their father was raised with a step-father. It would make her so much easier to find. Right now you cannot find her as a West or a Thompson.
