Photo is Mugsy Oliver Maxwell.|
It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow we no longer have Mugsy.
"Oh heart, if one should say to you that the soul perishes like the body, answer that the flower withers, but the seed remains." -
“The Moving Finger writes: and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all your Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,Nor all your Tears wash out a Word of it.”
Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul,
O, yes we trust that somehow good,
Will be the final goal of all.
Being a "graver" is an enjoyable hobby for us, not a competitive endeavor. "Collecting" memorials and garnering large statistics counts is a juvenile attitude.
Our goal is to eventually transfer every memorial of which we are not related to those who are. Really! We can't take them with us...
We are pleasant people, always happy to make corrections when politely requested with confirming documentation.
Rudeness or overbearing attitude are never tolerated, and any such messages will be "shredded". Based on unsavory prior exchanges, we prefer to no longer communicate using our personal e-mail; please use Leave Public Message to contact us. If you need to communicate with us "privately", you may use the "Suggest A Correction" feature on the memorial of our dear companion,

Thank you so much for sharing the picture of my cousins headstone. You are greatly appreciated by myself and I am sure many others who are not able to travel the world and take their own pictures of their loved ones. Thank you for all that you do for Find A Grave, like myself, not for rewards, but for the love of giving.

Hello, and thank you for the information. I have changed the birth date and added a little "blurb" in the bio section. Please check it out and let me know if it is ok.
We see that you have adopted our disclaimer verbiage. We did this as an unfortunate but necessary remedy for protection against abusive emails. At the bottom of our profile are the instructions for creating a clickable link to the memorial of your choice. We hope that it serves you as effectively as it has for us.

|Pauline DiSipio||Thank You for Transfer!|
My Goodness! How Nice! Thank You, Ladybug, for transferring your Memorial of Elaine DeJulio to me for management! A pleasant surprise. And thanks for moving the Glamour Photo to the top of Elaine's page.
Blessings to You.
Hope All is Well with You.

I have been adding some photos to Elaine Peterson DeJulio's Memorial that you created. But, now I can't see that wonderful Glamour Photograph that you added of Elaine! Would you please move it back to the top of her Memorial Page? Thanks. It is so Beautiful, just like Elaine was (is).
|David Hunsberger||Sontag / Decker transfer|
Thank you for the transfer of your memorial for Anna E. Sontag Decker (#169792977). I have made all of the changes I was going to send as edits, and I will add new information as it becomes available. One item I noticed -- on the parental links page for Anna you had entered a marriage year for her and W. J. Hunsperger as 1930. That year seems exactly right based on the birth of their child, but I never found any marriage document or newspaper mention in my searching. Did you find something that confirmed that year?
Thanks again! - David Hunsberger

Napoleon Tulip was born in Quebec, Canada, and enlisted from Kirby Vermont for service in the 17th volunteer infantry for service in the Civil War. May I use the monument photo that you contributed to his Find A, Grave Memorial, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
|Our Ancestors Branches||Jim Smith Obituary|
Thank you for sharing the obituary for Jim Smith. We enjoy adding this kind of Bio information to our memorials. In the future will you be kind enough to share what newspaper or funeral home published the obituary and the dates the obituary was published. We don't want any legal problems because we didn't give the publisher credit.
Thank you for all your volunteer photography work you've done in El Paso, Texas. Your photos always look great and we hope that you'll "Keep up the good work!"

|Barbara Young||Tombstone Photographs|
May I add addition requests to my 19
Feb 2017 concerning Eric Steven Mitchell 1972-2004 Memorial # 106804541.
May I also have permission to use his tombstone photograph? I also find that you have provided tombstones photographs of his grandparents, Martin Luther Mitchel 1896-1959 Memorial # 64050323 and Jessie Arvazine Bailey Hutchins 1906-1982 Memorial # 64057062.
May I have permission to use their tombstone photographs?
Thank you so very much for your help and consideration.
