Bio and Links
Bio Photo Seems I have always enjoyed old cemeteries. It is great to have a site that will allow us to create a virtual safeguard for the preservation of old cemeteries. More and more vanish away each day due to erosion, time and just plain "progress".

My husband and myself were very active in military support. We are former members of the SC Chapter of Rolling Thunder, Greg was VP of the Legion Riders and the Jr. VP of the American Legion. He also held office of Commander at VFW Post 9811, where I held office of Jr. VP Ladies Auxilliary.

My husband served two tours of Vietnam. I am very proud of my honey. We live a useful and full filling life.

Update: January and February 2016. Greg has been diagnosed with an inoperable lung cancer. Fortunatly right now he is doing well. The Veteran Hospital is aggresively treating him with daily radiation and weekly chemo. He is responding well to the treatment

My sweet Greg died last night July 31, at 2 AM. I am slowly working on his memorial.

My Greg

RE: James (Jim) Nash
I'm the who who spoke with you a few years ago about my grandfather. I'd be excited to see a pic of him. The only one I have I'm not sure it it's really him or not. Got it from a cousin who wasn't quite sure. I just thought you couldn't find the picture of him. Thanks for remembering me.

Lydia C. Henderson - Shiloh Memorial
Hi Elizabeth,

I have just been to Shiloh Memorial taking some pictures recently. I took a pic of Lydia's headstone and wrote the info down on a notepad and this is what I got: Lydia C. Henderson (Sept. 5, 1848 - Jan. 15, 1920). There is also an epitaph that speaks of "our loss being heaven's gain" or something. It's faded and hard to make out. Hope this helps.
