Oops., that is 'Earl' Subra, not Eugene Subra. Earl was married to Vaneita and they divorced when my grandmother was a baby.

RE: Gilliland Family
Dear Kenneth,

It is great to connect with you too! My mom and grandmother are avidly reading everything I am able to dig up, thanks in huge part to what you have put together on this site.

I imagine growing up in Chicago would have been terrific.
My grandmother's parents were Eugene Subra and Vaneita Gilliland (daughter of Harley and Winnie). At some point, Eugene and Vaneita got divorced and each took one daughter with them.
My grandma was raised with all her family around, including Harley, Winnie, Babe, Blanche, and Arlys. I have gotten a kick out of reading the Bayard News clippings capturing who had whom over for dinner and for bridge. :0)

I hear that there was a hardware store that sold candy-- was that also Wagner & Gilliland do you think?

A big hello from Seattle, WA!

Thank you
Thank you Mr. Tyler for this work!
You posted a photo of Myron Gilliland. He is the g-grandad of my grandmother, born Margaret Jean Subra.
We have some deep roots in Bagley and Washington County, and it means a lot to me that you have done this work so I can look up my ancestors.

Exiled Menard request
The stone we found for Exilda Menard had these dates: 1869-1959. It was next to a larger Menard family marker and a stone for Mary Jane Menard Peltier 1922-1993(?). I took pictures of those stones, and I'll be happy to post those pictures (or email them to you), if you'd like them.

RE: Ryan Transfers
Thank you. I only requested the one to see if it can be double transferred. Did I screw up by requesting one of yours and not the one of your friends that you had taken on?

Also the other one, I was only giving you edits to the memorial. But thank you. I really enjoy being on Find A Grave and meeting the fine folks out here in this big world. Linda

RE: Ryans
See if you can transfer Martin Ryan, #21218410.

Also, Michael Ryan Jr. , #31650528. The obit needs to be added plus the death dates on the memorial are different than the headstone. Linda

When you say "Take Over" does that mean you will transfer Sharon's on to someone else? I don't know if they can be transferred again. I thought they could only be transferred once. Is that true or have things changed? Linda

Is there a duplication regarding Mary Ryan? See #21214773 & #31650525. Linda
