RE: James Madison Reeves 1836-1902
Hi Glenda:

I would be happy to add to his memorial, and would take it over if you really don't want to maintain it, but I surely didn't mean to be critical. I was just so excited to see his name up there and didn't know if you even knew about his other children. You've done a lovely job! I got to visit Mossy Creek Presbyterian church several years ago and would so love to be able to comb through all those old grave sites, but living in FL makes that unlikely. Thank you so much! James Madison Reeves 1836-1902
Hi Glenda!
Thank you for putting up the memorial for James M Reeves. He is my 2nd great grandfather on my maternal side. I noticed that under children the only one listed is his youngest. My great grandmother was his eldest child and he had a total of 10 children. Do you want/need a list of them? Dottie Yarbrough

RE: Lamberts at Riverview
The irony of it is the proximity of these unmarked graves to the Lambert mausoleum. The unmarked graves are on the opposite side of the circle from the mausoleum, being unmarked never would have known

It's in the old old old paperwork I have been working on what seems like forever. It is at my store and when I go in tomorrow I will pic it and send to you or if you prefer I can fax it to you.
Thought that was a great find too.

Lamberts at Riverview
Hi Glenda,
A while back you had asked me to be on lookout for Lamberts in Riverview in Waynesboro Va
I found something that may be of interest:
T.W. Lambert bought lots which is 6 graves in Block 139 in March 1901
Lot 3a shows a burial - no name
Lot 3b Ditto
Lot 3c. Mae Lambert
Lot 4a Martha Lambert wife of T.W.
Lot 4b Elizabeth Page - no marker
Lot 4c. A.C. Page marker

So if this makes any sense to you there are 2 unknown burials that could well be Herbert and someone else.
I would think it would be T.W. but have no way to prove it.
I don't know why 2 Pages are buried there unless they were given permission.
Just wanted to pass this on, you will probably have more insight than me.
Have a good day
Regards
Beth

Joe Leonard Lambert
Hi Glenda
In working on old paperwork at Riverview I ran across Joe Leonard Lambert and set up memorial for him. There is no marker on his grave and I thought you may have some family info for him.

Beth

Frank Lovell Hutchens
Glenda

Thank you for adding a photo to Memorial 16675330, Frank Lovell Hutchens. His first wife, Eleanora (Hilleary) Hutchens and 2 infants were supposedly buried with him in unmarked graves. At some point, plot numbers for those 3 were given to me. The memorials for them are all in Riverview Cemetery with lot numbers.

A Hutchens family member just visited Bethel Church in Greenville, Augusta Co., Va. and told me that Frank is buried there. There is a Bethel Church on this site that has only 3 burials. Were graves disinterred and re-buried in Riverview?

Many cemeteries in my area have been developed and the graves get moved in most cases.

What am I missing?

Thanks,
Margaret #47118174
