Thanks for the pic for this Memorial, unfortunately, it is for the husband and not the wife. Do you have another one you can upload and delete this one? Thanks in advance.
|Shirley Gragg||Thank you|
.... for Memorial# 9085235 - the picture of the headstone is wonderfully clear.

I noticed that you have taken a lot of pictures at the Shankland Hill Cemetery in Warren County, Indiana. Is this cemetery on private property? Did you have to get permission to enter the cemetery? I'd like to get a picture of Emory Lawson Shankland's stone, if it still exists. Thanks!

Please remove the photo you posted on this memorial. I have been notified by a couple of other contributors that this is a photo of the stone for his wife, which you had already posted. Thx.

You are soooo WELCOME. I am Grateful I could help. I think. I am sooo glad she had a stone but gosh that is difficult to see. I am going to check at different times of the day to see if I can pull it out more. It is a South side facer so it may be as good as it gets. I felt for anything up and down both West and North Side. They are blank.
YOU ARE WELCOME
Thanks for Transfer. I will maintain and update.

|Shirley Gragg||RE: Can you help - John Goldman, Sr.|
Alan - you've intrigued me. Direct relationship to which line - first wife 'Nancy' or 2nd 'Lodica Wright' [I'm related to her 1st husband, Greenberry Wright.
|Shirley Gragg||Can you help?|
Alan - some time back, you were kind enough to send me a list of burial sites in Riddle Cemetery. Have a question ---- have you come across any field stones used vs headstones at Riddle?
My question comes because of a 'marker' for John Goldman, Sr. of Crawford Co. Someone posted the 'headstone' and referred to it as being in Riddle Cem., but it's not in the list of people there. It is definitely a 'field stone'.
A letter written back in 1992 by Mr. George Goldman, descendant of John's - indicates his 3rd GGF was buried at what is now Holstein [or Hadden] on Beachwood. Indications are that John's daughter, Margaret, was also marked with such a marker.
I think Mr. Goldman of the 1992 letter may have passed away by now - seems he was elderly and in the Vet's hospital at the time.
