|Shirley Weir||Christi Leanne Escue|
My niece, Christi Leanne Escue, born in 1969 to
Melvin Lynn (Joe) Escue & Latricia Blakley is
buried at Poplar Grove Cemetery in HENNING not
Halls. Can you correct this?
Thanks - Shirley Weir
|rosie lemons||Jessie Droke|
Tombstone has name as Droke, but this is actually Jessie Drake, and she's buried in the Poplar Grove Cemetery at Henning, not Halls. There are 2 Poplar Grove Cemeteries in Lauderdale County, one near Henning and one at Poplar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Halls. The one near Halls,has sign "Poplar Grove Memorial Garden". Many of the memorials in the one at Halls are of people who are actually buried in Henning Poplar Grove Cemetery. Some graves are
listed on both sites.

He is my 4th cousin 3x removed. May I use his gravestone photo in my Family Tree? I will gladly give you credit. Thank you so much, Terry

She was not married to Newton Williams but to Ransom M Williams of Memphis TN
Thanks so much for the transfer of Mary Sangster, and thanks for telling me that it was just luck that you photographed her. I'm going to have to make a trip out to the cemetery and look for more distant relations.

His full name was James Peter McBride and the full dates are
Born 7/21/1860 Lauderdale, Tn
I found this info on Ancestry
Thanks so much for the offer, I was working from the TN death certificate index. Mother and daughter were back to back, very sad I always check to see if I can find family to link a person to. She is not a member of my family. Are you familiar with this county? I ask because I have come across certificates that state place of burial was "Old Baptist Cemetery". Have not been able to locate a cemetery with that name. One child, however, had that cemetery listed on her death certificate and she had been buried in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
Hi and thanks for the picture. You took advantage of the warm weather to get out there I take it. I really appreciate it. I've been trying to connect this family for ages.
