Bio and Links
Bio Photo DUE TO NECESSARY OBLIGATIONS.. REQUESTS MAY BE DELAYED IF THEY ARE OUTSIDE THE "AUTOMATED" SYSTEM.. I DO NOT HAVE AS MUCH TIME RIGHT NOW AS I USED TO~~~~~
I Have been researching Family lines for over 40 years.
BUT, this is NOT a Genealogy Research project this is about the Cemeteries!!! *same goal as the FAG
while I like to get more info and do VALID link ups and maybe a SHORT PERSONAL BIO page on the Person that lists an Obit and maybe little more, It is UNNECESSARY to put clips from census and other large documents and complete 'family histories' into the Bio.
this really is NOT the place for your Genealogy Family Research to be STORED.(that is what the GENEALOGY WEB SITES ARE FOR! NOT HERE!!) PLEASE USE ANCESTRY OR FAMILY TREES for your data.. this is where the obits and short histories and locations of burial sites should be done.. family links are NICE and helpful to the genealogist... but I have found that they are NOT always right! having the obit to prove helps... (I myself have had supposed family members give me DIFFERENT links for the parents of one memorial.)
[FAG: "the goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have MEANINGFUL, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."]

Regarding Transfers: PLEASE READ FINDAGRAVE's TRANSFER REQUIREMENTS before requesting a transfer.
SEE: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs#79
IF YOU ARE DIRECTLY RELATED (read FAG DEFINITION! does NOT mean Every cousin, Aunt or Uncle! or DISTANT family member!) to someone that I have entered and wish to request a transfer to you.. please USE THE EDIT tab on the memorial to make request. PLEASE!~ USE THE EDIT FEATURE TO REQUEST EACH ONE ~ PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR MEMBER NUMBER..
************************
Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not want to make the transfer. You may certainly request the transfer of memorials beyond the four generations, but the original contributor may choose not to transfer (the original contributor should make any corrections and add any additional information you have for that memorial, such as links to parents and spouses). BULK SURNAME requests should NOT be made.
********************************
PLEASE!~ USE THE EDIT TAB FEATURE TO REQUEST changes ~ I do not respond to "notes" left on this page for requests NOR do I respond to direct emails.
PLEASE NOTE.. CHILDREN ARE HOOKED UP BY LINKING THE PARENTS on CHILDREN's memorial. GIVING ME A LIST OF THE CHILDREN to "link" to the parents WILL Get you NOTHING.

Regarding Duplicates: It is not my intention to create a duplicate on purpose. If you come across a duplicate I have made, please use the EDIT tab and let me know. I'll be happy to look into removing it. Please don't create a duplicate of my memorials; I would rather you ask for edits. Duplicates are the ones with the LATER date or number. do not post flowers to declare duplicates

Regarding Messages on a specific memorial: Please contact me USING THE EDIT feature in the memorial. I don't respond to "private" messages. (AND DON'T FORWARD your copy either.. I junk it)

YOU MUST USE THE EDIT FEATURES!!!

{I reserve the RIGHT to delete ANY comment left on this page at ANY TIME!}
**************************************************
lately I've been getting a lot of requests to link to INVALID memorials (see findagrave FAQ's for rules on posting memorials..) claiming Cremations when they weren't done as a regular thing is NOT going to hack it with me if they aren't proven.. if the memorial is NOT in a cemetery and you've not proven it was a Cremation (not begun until after 1912) I will NOT link it to the children or spouse!! while you'd like this site to be about "memorializing" your relative that is NOT what FIND A GRAVE is about.. READ ALL OF THE FAQS!..

Cynthia
wife of Billy Fred Gathright
I am looking for possible burial information on Billy Fred's wife, Wilma Jo Lee Gathright. She passed August 2017. I can not find an obit or burial information.

RE: WHL Gathright's first wife
Hi Carol - Just a quick note. I got a copy of Susan's marriage certificate. The writing is hard to decipher, but I believe it could say Susannah and not Louisiana. This may be where the belief of her name to be Louisiana came from. I have never seen it written anywhere else, she's Susan on the census'. There is a G initial in one place, but I have never seen anything that shows Gillian. Maybe it's in a bible somewhere. I have changed my Ancestry name listing for her, making Louisiana just a commonly assumed, but possibly incorrect, nickname.

RE: Charles Lee Bailey
Sorry about that. I only meant Ida's stone to be a marker for Charles's location, but I have removed it. But I did leave the monument with only Ida's name on it to show the locations of Charles and George. Let me know if you want it removed also.

Moses Franklin Rosser

Carol,
Thanks for making the updates to my great grandfather’s Find-A-Grave memorial. The comment you left on the memorial caused me to go back and do searches again for his middle name.

I had originally relied on Ancestry.com and other’s trees and assumeed his middle name was Franklin. I looked at all the Ancestry.com reference materials which consisted primarily of Federal census data, and none of the census information showed a middle name or middle initial for Moses. The only thing I found on Ancetry.com was a Civil War Georgia Army roster for Chaplain M.F. Rosser.

I came across another Find-A-Grave memorial for a Rev. Moses Franklin Rosser who was also born in Georgia, but 3 years after my grandfather. I now expect the Civil War Army roster was for this Reverend Moses Franklin Rosser, and not my grandfather.

I recommend that you remove “Franklin” as the middle name for my great grandfather.

Ann Marie Gathright-Rosser
Do you have any burial information (or any other)on Ann Marie Gathright-Rosser? My (maybe mis-)information says she died in Greene Alabama in 1900. Moses Rosser is my great grandfather via Wilson Gathright Rosser.

Mr Collins has a link on his page for a Josephus Collins as being his son. The dates indicate Josephus was born in 1844. Art Collins was born until 1909. His memorial page # is 12179822

Carol,

Can you please take a look at this memorial? Her spouse is incorrect, as is her name. If you would prefer I put through corrections, please let me know. I am currently researching Sally Anne and James Edward Toner, so if I find any other information (like her maiden name) I'll put it through normally.

Thank you.
