|I have recently re-started working on my "Tree" and now am addicted to genealogy. I have been adding members of my family to the site and adding death notices from local newspapers in hopes that someone has luck in finding a lost/missing relative or loved one.|

In your memorial for James Mackintosh (Memorial# 8321974), I believe that his place of birth should be Rhode Island. The 1880 census gives it as New York, however his death certificate says Rhode Island. His wife, Rebecca's, obituary states that the obit be copied by the providence papers.

Thank you for transferring him to me. He was my
mother's youngest brother.

Rebecca is my 5th great aunt. I would LOVE any information or pictures you might have of her!

Please remove my name from any and all Almshouse burials in Salem co, NJ. A copy of an index to the almshouse is all I ever had. The index refers to files in the Archives of the County clerk, in Salem, NJ, where properly all queries should be directed. I have NO further information and while I agreed you could copy what I shared, the messages you have posted are misleading. I have nothing else for those who come looking and they may miss out on pertinent information in those files.

Hello, I was doing some research on a "Certificate of Disability for Discharge" of a Pvt Robert Johnson. I just got this document and seeing that it had been signed by Jeremiah T. Hutchison and Cpt. Robert B Barger I decided to find out what I could about them and came across this web site. Very interesting. Thank you.

HI noticed on a number of the Kandle and related families you left flowers, curious if related, also thought to tell you on this mem somehow yr flowers got duplicated, maybe you'd want to delete one of them as they are exact same on same day might have hit save twice or something. If you click on one of the flowers then can delete one of them....thanks kindly

Margi, are you still working on genealogy, is your health okay? I went through the edit button on my sixth great-grandfather's memorial (#10408072) to have it transferred to me. I would like to make links and add a bio for him. Through Alms House records, family Bible records, DNA testing, and other records we have finally located him. Before Thanksgiving I went to add a memorial for him and found you had already done so (your work is greatly appreciated). We are attempting to link our Moore families for easier access for the present day folks and for future generations to locate their heritage. Thank you for all you've done for Findagrave.
Are you still active?

I just did some research. I found a James Askin marraige to Amy Teaits. However James passed away before 1880.
It appears that we are relatives. James askins is a great grandfather of mine. I am curious of how you found his wifes name though.
