I consider Find A Grave one of mankind's proudest achievements, up there with air conditioning and anesthesia. It's a serious godsend for genealogists.

Whatever I read in non-fiction, I tend to head here quickly to see if the family has been properly documented and linked. Generally, no -- so off I go.

Always happy to help in whatever way I can -- to pay back a world of kindnesses from others' contributions.

Craten Hall (1849 - 1903) Memorial# 179774047
Notices are out re 16 Hall Cemetery duplicates. The interment count should drop from 35 to 19 by July 1. B.L.

PS. OOPS, now is looks like Bone Valley Cemetery and Hall Cemetery may not be duplicate cemeteries. They have different GPS coordinates and only a handful of "shared burials". It may be that CBS Sunday Morning filmed in both cemeteries, which just over a mile apart. Hall Cemetery has about 15 duplicates of 35 interments and needs to be "cleaned out" before addressing duplicates between the two cemeteries. Another "Mystery of the Cemeteries."

Good catch ... however I find the issue much more that a single duplicate Memorial. Turns out that Bone Valley Cemetery and Hall Cemetery are duplicate cemeteries in Swain County. I'll see what I can do about getting the cemeteries merged, then work on the duplicates and triplicates will come from that merger.
Thanks for watching CBS Sunday Morning,

There is not record for her at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. I have remover your request. Good luck with your search for her cemetery.

Thank you for the heads up, but mine has more information and a picture of Ernest Wright's gravestone. There's more value for those who are doing genealogy. Therefore, I will not delete the memorial page. Also, I did research for an organization that was given his Purple Heart. I'm honored to be a part of his memorial page. If you have a better solution please let me know.

I transferred the memorials to you. Sorry I didn't get to reply right away as I had surgery. I don't have any ties to this family. I just do volunteer work for Find A Grave and happened to work on the section of the cemetery where they are.

RE: Honeycutt
Hi There!

Wow, you live very close to my daughter! I appreciate your offer of help with the Honeycutt's, I'm not part of the family but try and link things up for them if I come across the name. There are few at Montlawn also. Funny thing, my granddaughter's maid of honor at her wedding is a Honeycutt! Small world.

I live in California and spend a lot of time in North Carolina where my oldest daughter lives. She lives off Durant Road ... I'm sure you know where that is! Maybe when I come back sometime we could meet up. I would like that. You are a wonderful asset to Find A Grave and I appreciate your work.
