If I've taken a photo of a grave, please ask for permission before republishing elsewhere, online or offline. If I maintain a memorial, and it's for one of your ancestors or relatives, I will almost certainly transfer management of the memorial to you, gladly, if it is not a nearer relative to either myself or my wife.

I'm the US GenWeb Project Volunteer Town Coordinator for Middleton & Beverly, in Essex County, Massachusetts. I'm glad if I can help you out with any searches in these towns.

Or feel free to drop me a line, if you are looking for sources in the areas I've researched, or you find we are cousins, and I'm missing you folks, or if maybe we can share sources or tree info.

RE: Genevieve Piecewicz #139591648
Hi Barry,
I don't know if she used "Geneva" on a regular basis throughout her life time but I tend to think where it was on this one census, that the family member being interviewed for the census, just automatically said her name as they would refer her to on a daily basis. So far, I have not found any further information on this nickname.
Sure, I would be happy to take the transfer. Much appreciated and thank you for your research on her.
Happy searching...........

RE: Genevieve Piecewicz
Hi Barry,
Relation would be wife of stepson of my Great Aunt.
What is it that you have questions about? Maybe I can verify for you.

You do not have to manage a memorial to offer a bio. Please use the same link you used asking for a transfer to submit a bio.

Thank you
Take care.

Hannah Marie Peaslee Preston
According to the Kane County, Illinois Death Index Hannah died in 1884-1885. Henry was her second husband, married 22 Apr 1881 Norfolk County, Massachusetts. Their first daughter Florence Jean was born Sept 1881 in Massachusetts and second daughter Pearl was born 1883. Pearl was born in Kane County, Ill where the family had moved circa 1882. Henry moved back to Massachusetts after Hannah's death. He remarried 17 May 1885 Marietta Flint in Essex County, Massachusetts.
Pearl Preston, died 1933, is the mother of my dearly beloved mother-in-law who is 88 years old.
Respectfully submitted,

RE: John P. Whitten
This is one that needs a call to the office. In the burial report is a Hannah Whitten Preston. She is assigned plot: uc-234-2. The odd part is there is no internment date. So we may need to look at the burial card for the answer. As you know John P Whitten is in uc-234-1. So they should be side by side. When I took the pic there was no gravestone except John's the area beside his was unmarked. She might be in an unmarked grave beside John.
The cemetery number is: Union Cemetery 603-528-3423; You will probably talk with Susanne perley. Although the worker Jack will probably do the work of actually poling to see if there is a grave in uc-234-2. if so and no headstone then it is unmarked and the person at the internment time neglected to write the info on the card. If the card has a date and the typed burial report neglected to have it included then we would know when and where she is and no poling is necessary.
You will have to call and ask if is listed and if they can see if she is there, as a concerned relative.

RE: Duplicates
They are not duplicate cemeteries.
In Wilmot there is an old cemetery, that was referred to as the Wiswall Cemetery. It is on Find A Grave as Wilmot 1.
The second one in Wilmot is next to the Baptist church. Years ago, that one was referred to as the Union Church Cemetery.
In obituaries today, the newer cemetery is often referred to as the Wiswall cemetery.
Edward and Harriett Fales are in what I refer to as the Wiswall Cemetery. I have them entered in that cemetery. It now appears that they have been added to the Union Church one.
They should be moved to the Wilmot 1 cemetery. Once that is done, I will be happy to delete my entries. The picture on Edwards grave (not mine)appears to be clearer that the one I took. That picture should be copied to his wife. Then I can delete mine.
