Cemeteries, particularly old family graveyards, have held my interest since I was a child. I love the story the stones tell and wonder about the lives of the people named on these markers. It troubles me that so many graves remain unmarked. |
With over 25 years of family history research, I have many hundreds of folks to memorialize on Findagrave. Many entries will not be those related to me but have been researched by me. Adding biographical information to every record I contribute is very important, and I hope proves helpful to others.
If you have any corrections or additional information to share on those I've added, please let me know, or if I have added your family member I will be happy to turn over ownership.
Families I'm researching: EASTON, LORD, THOMPSON, McDERMOTT, YOUNGER, MALOTT, YOUNG, FOREMAN/FUHRMMAN (most resided in Jefferson Co., KY).

I am trying to find where My Great Grandfather was buried (Cemetery). He was born in Louisville,Ky(1825) and died in Lincoln,Nebraska in 1891. He married Sarah Elizabeth Gilmore who was born and died in Harrison County, Indiana. (Heilberg Church Cemetery -Corydon,Indiana). Any information you could provide would be appreciated.

It really was my pleasure. It is a beautiful marker and pictures don't do it justice. I was thinking of revisiting a few markers to see if I could get better photos (liight, weather, etc.). So I may just send some more your way.
|Michael Lord||Lord family|
Thank you for the information about the Lord family. My father is David Lord and I could not believe it when I was able to find out more about them
my Mom Mary and my Dad both passed away in 2012 and I appreciate any info I can get about the Lord family.
Is it possible that you are a member of the Lord family?
|Wendi Zimmerman||Emily & Benjamin Tiffany|
I've added a photo to both of these memorial pages of the back of the monument marking their grave where you can see "Tiffany." The front of the grave is unreadable as it is. I did a "dirt and paper" rubbing on it and can see that there are dates and names, but there's too much moss grown on it to see. This is so very interesting to me as it's one of the oldest memorials in the cemetery which is readable. I am going back out tomorrow and will wash it and use my proper rubbing kit to see what it says. I will take a picture of the rubbing and send it to you when I'm done.
Wow, you are awesome! I was visiting Louisville, searching for my fathers' aunts' resting place when I noticed several Martins at St Stevens. Having Martins on both sides of the family I decided to photograph them as well. You wouldn't happen to have access to information on Catherine Jennings from Benton Co. Indiana? I am working finally, 6-12s, but will gladly add the information you have provided. If you are kin, I could transfer to you if you wish...

|Jeremy Johnson||Eliza Thompson Stillwell|
My GGrandfather, Henry S. Stillwell, married as his second wife, Eliza Thompson, daughter of Napoleon Thompson and Elizabeth Easton. I think they are buried in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery, but must not have markers. Do you know? Do you have a photogaph of Eliza or Henry? I've looked for years, but no one seems to have them.
