As expressed below: THANK YOU for all of the work that many of you have done - because I love to LINK!!!|
Research has become an addiction - a good one! My primary field of interest is the history of the upper Pecos, New Mexico. This is a canyon north of Pecos, New Mexico that extends into the Pecos Wilderness. Because "people" make up most of our historical events, I like to know as much about each person involved as possible. This leads me into the field of genealogy. I enjoy writing and have authored a book: Mountain View Ranch 1915-1945, which is the history of a dude ranch at Cowles, New Mexico.
In the course of "wandering" thru the cemeteries, I decided that I needed my very own signature flower. I couldn't make up my mind, so I have chosen two: the yellow Pecos Mariposa Lily and the beautiful Blue Columbine, both of which grow in the high mountains of New Mexico. The photos were taken by my research friend (!!) Karen. Thank you for the use of the photos and your expertise!
PS - I enjoy being able to link existing memorials that YOU have made. I send a sincere Thank You to those of you who have made the additions I have sent via SAC's!!!

You recently sent me links for this burial. I have added his obit. I also added obits for his wife and parents, but you'll have to wait for the owner of the to copy and paste to the bio section.

I have just added the photos of their stones. You have them buried in Ross Corner Cemetery, Shapleigh, York County Maine, USA. This is incorrect. They are buried in Maplewood Cemetery, South Parsonsfield, York County Maine, USA. I believe this is a family plot and the same place Augusta's father is buried. After her husband died she moved back to her fathers farm and died while living there. She was not buried at the family plot of her late husband. I am unable to change the buried place or remove the photo of the Ross Cemetery which I am hoping you can as you were the one who originated the memorial. I hope this is helpful. Have a great day.

Ms Hmura, thank you so much for all the work you do in NM and thus making it available to so many of us. I am writing regarding an addition to my mother's information. I am her her oldest child and should be in place above my brother, James Russell Tuttle. My name is Mary Lula Tuttle Sinnott, born Aug. 25, 1926, and I would love it so much if I could be included w/my family. Would you honor me by adding my name? Many thanks, MLTSinnott

Hi! I believe I've found Mr. Abbe. I am working on Mountain View Cemetery in Altadena CA (by remote access, I'm in AZ) and I found him on a website that shows the burials. The dates you have are the same. Here is the link to the cemetery: https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GRid=180620681&CRid=8193&
I didn't find any other Abbe's there.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for excepting my edit. It is wonderful when we can connect our grandparents to their parents.
